I have been to Ethiopia and their are many people with royal behavior. it makes good sense to know something about a people who know who they are. westerners have no basis for criticizing Ethiopians. most can only speak a white mans language with little knowledge of how they are African. All black people are African, thanks for the images of the Motherland.

Can we just enjoy, it doesn't happen that often that we hear good stuff about africa which is sad. Ethiopia is a holy blesses land. And I am not ethiopian, I'm from west africa we should celebrate what we have accomplished seperatly and together, when one african country wins a battle we all win it, because we have the same stuggles. +Goldniz you haven't figured it out yet? People HATE....... H A T E!!!!!! to hear, see, acknowledge anything black that has anything to do with anything positive. "they" hate to hear about schools, they hate to hear about language, they hate to hear about culture, they hate to think that anyone or anything black has done anything contrary to the miseducation system here in the US. This has been for centuries...Anglo's travelled to Africa and destroyed structures and buildings, stole gold and artifacts hoping to find someone with light skin. Im sorry you have discovered this pattern but it is a pattern that plays out here in the US. Anytime African Americans build something, accomplish something, invent something, get organized....."they" are there to demean, belittle, destroy, mock, and discredit. and no "they" are not "haters"....It's naïve to think this is not a pattern perpetrated by a specific people. It's also naïve to think only one people has built what we have today. It's just institutionalized ignorance. You can go to any pro black -education, -organization, -history...you name it and you will find them. Arguing, mocking, gnashing, hurling racial epitaphs. Sick....Sad....Sorry!

Orthodox faith is intentionally ignored in the West, mostly because is perceved as the religion of Russia. Nowadays Orthodox countries are: Greece, Russia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Cyprus, Montenegro, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, partially Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Georgia and Armenia have their own churches mostly considered Orthodox. The thing is that Vatican has quite an subversive agressive atitude ever since Christianity was divided, always trying to convert as much as possible and diminish Orthodoxy. For instance, WWI started because Vatican was doing its best to prevent Serbia from getting to the sea affraid Serbia could become ally of Russia and allow them to bring their naval fleet to the Adriatic sea, right in the back of Italy. That is why Austro-Hungary occupied Bosnia-Herzegovina and their prince was shot and WWI started. Before that, Serbian troops were welcomed at the port of Durres by locals, but the great powers, again with Vatican behind, ordered Serbia to leave the coast and instead obtain more territory inlands in Macedonia, thus creating the "Macedonian question". Then, when this Orthodox Christian kingdoms were liberating themselves from the Ottoman Empire, it became clear Ottomans would loose Istambul (Constantinople) and since that would have meant the renewal of the Bizantine kingdom, western powers missalowed Bulgarian, Serbian, Greek and Russian (all Orthodox) troops to liberate Istambul, and preffered to leave that historical Christian city in Turkish hands (ironic huh?) Its hard to see that Western Christian powers always favoured Turkey against Orthodox countries.

I'm pretty sure this historian could also do some extension of this documentary up to the north, Eritrea to connect the missing dots. There's also some ancient ports like Zula and Adulis the main outlets to the outside world and trade. Also, there are some mini obelisks similar to those in Aksum in Kohaito of Eritrea not to far off from the boarder with Ethiopia. Great job bro. ✌from Eritrea

HI, THE FACT THAT THE WHITE PEOPLE THAT CAME TO AFRICA AND SAW THIS AND OTHER BEAUTIFUL BUILDINGS OF PAST KINGDOM AND DID NOT APPRECIATE THEM OR IF THEY DID SEE THE BEAUTY OF THEM, DID NOT TALK ABOUT IT TO JUSTIFY TO OTHER WHITE PEOPLE THAT THEY WERE NOT DEPRIVING BUT CIVILISING AFRICA SHOWS THAT OR 1) IF THEY BELIEVE THEMSELVES TO BE SUPERIOR, THEIR PRIDE BLINDED THEM AND JUST LIKE LITTLE ANIMALS, COULD NOT APPRECIATE THE BEAUTY NOR THE IMPORTANCE OF BEAUTIFUL BUILDING AND OF THE REMAIN OF A VERY ANCIENT WORLD, THEREFORE. That would be a sin of PRIDE. The kind of sin that opens the doors of the soul to the devils, because then the devil of selfishness, of selfentitlement and of greed have already both feet in to a man's soul and from within they erode your him and he starts to expoit those whom he knows are weaker than him and these devils make their victims like themselves, he takes on their traits, fit for hell fire. Belive me is the most horrible thing , the wrath of the Lord our God is terrible. You need not to be angry. That anger only causes you to suffer and to have like a circling feeling of hatred and sometimes you manage to tame it and sometimes you just don't manage to tame it. Especially if you meet another person that has a short fuse, which in turn is caused by a similar constant anger cicle as the one that afflicts you. And then the risk that you might say or do something very stupid for which not only there are consequences in the near future, but if the Allmighty gives you the grace of repenting, then you learn to forgive and when you learn to forgive you look back and you regreat tremendously the bad things that you did. This is a repentance that comes for sorrow and you suffer in such sorrow of repentance when you have learned to love your enemy. Is not easy for us sinners human beings to love our enemy and indeed most of us try but do not manage. They do not manage unless they ask it of God. Say "My Jesus my God my Lord, son of God , have mercy of me because I am a sinner I tried to love those who hate me but I never managed! Please teach me, give me a hart of flesh make me love my brothrers and sisters as you want us to do. i asked many things to God and sooner or later I got them. They were things for my spirit, but I also asked other more material things and He in his mercy gave them to me always when I least expected it. If you ask a gift for the spirit, the Allmighty will not deny it to you. Do not be proud, if God loves you and you keep a stiff neck he will forge you with love but with a bit of stick also as you would do to a norty child that keeps getting away from you and crossing the road without looking left and right and without waiting for you, because you love him. Think of how things are forged and you know that God also punishes us therefore ask for the right things because He knows of every little injustice, every little tiny sin every wrong every bad thought Nothing eludes Him. You neeed not be angry with these white supremacist lot because God is already from well before you were born. 2) IF THEY KNOW AND APPRECIATE THE IMPORTANCE OF THESE ANCIENT BUILDING AND CIVILISATION AND COVER IT UP THEN THEY HAVE THE EVILS OF SELISHNESS GREED COWARDY GREED VIOLENCE AND HYPOCRICY. SUFFICES TO SAY THAT NOT EVEN CHRIST THE LORD LIKED HIPOCRITES. When Our Lord Jesus spoke of hypocrites also spoke of the sins against the Spirit ( of the Lord) and said that the sins against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

@Random Person its quite possible slash probable the computer or the smartphone she is using is made entirely in China you know? The building argument is even more funny, since when is the west the inventor of architecture? Some of the churches seen in the documentary and, for instance, the Chinese Wall, were made in a time when Westerners still lived in bushes and forests lol

The problem with Ethiopians,Eritreans and Somalis is that they are one and the same, largely interlinked by cushitic majority,Ethiopia has oromos, Eritrea has Beja and Somalia is fully Cushitic so don't think despite the faith there is no much difference, they have the same physical features and live in harmony outside Ethiopia

As a Somali i can see the possibility of Queen Sheba getting down with King Solomon. Israel aint that far from the red sea. Ethiopians have an identity that is actually written and can be proven if asked. African Americans claiming Israel on the other hand, fucking throws me off guard. Why on Earth would you claim Israel when your history is in WEST AFRICA? Shit i would've been claiming the kingdoms in West Africa.... How many AFRO-Americans know the richest man to history today? He was a black man, from west Africa.... "In fact, according to a new inflation-adjusted list compiled by CelebrityNetworth.com, Mansa Musa was worth $400 billion, which, incredibly, places him as the No. 1 richest person in history, ahead of the Rothschild family ($350 billion), John D. Rockefeller ($340 billion) and Henry Ford ($199 billion)." Kingdoms flourished in West Africa. From Ghana to Cameroon. You are brainwashed to run away from your origins, only to claim another mans. Don't ignore the 95% West African genes you carry. Never. Claim King MANSA MUSA instead, it'll make a whole lot'a sense.

Carl Eleck I'm not no North African, those people over there have militated with so many different people, no one knows their identity. I'm a pure Somali, all of it is pure Cushite. That being said, my point of this topic was simply to state the empires that flourished in the area's that Black Americans were kidnapped from. Why claim Israel in a land you have no history in while tossing out your true roots in Africa? Thats simply because western ideologies have corrupted the mind of these people. They mention the 2% European blood in them, while ignoring the 98% Sub Saharan genotype that they carry. That is westernizing at its highest point.

***** Quite true... I am Haitian, Haiti is quite the "purest" in term of black blood, 95% of Haiti is of African descent, even the remaining 5% define itself as black. Yet, alot of our neighbours would prefer to relate to any "mix" in their ethnicity then their blackness...

***** I am Burundian, and I must say God bless you. A fellow educated African. It's so nice to see more educated Africans, who have freed themselves from mental slavery and educated themselves instead of waiting for someone to educate them. There is nothing more unacceptable than wasting time blaming society, when one can take life into their own hands and educate themselves. We need more of our people who have true understanding, logic, and reasoning. I can only hope Africa will be filled with people such as you and I one day, it would solve every problem we have.

Khnum Khufu Freed myself from mental slavery? Lol, I know who i am, i know where i'm from, i can speak my mother language. I know my country, my people, i have an identity. You are Burundian, you have a language, a country, a village, a tribe, you have an identity. What mental slavery did you experience? It is Afro-Americans that have experienced mental slavery, Africans might've experienced physical labor, physical slavery...but most did not experience mental slavery. To hate your own brother, your own skin. Claim anything but your motherland. All that is because of mental slavery. Something you and I will never experience simply because we have identities.

Really Thomas Jackson? I never saw an Ethiopian hating African sister and bothers; we are very strict to respect and Ethiopia is the country who fought for the freedom of Africans. From training freedom fighters, like Nelson Mandela, to organizing Africans (African Union). Don't get brainwashed by those people who don't like us (Africans). We showed the world we are the origin of civilization, Astronomy (but they stole us), coding, coffee, human and they may build big towers which may last less than 100 years but the Ethiopians have been over a century and they are yours too if you know it. Others may not accept facts because they think they are super mind which is not. But powerful either to destroy or steal. The original Arc is in Ethiopia- nobody can change facts if you are the chosen one. Thanks to the almighty God!!!

See they still got it. I hope next generation, if not this one will live out of poverty .We who are in western world ,miss our beloved country .

I liked the way the researcher tried to connect the origin of the architectures used in Abyssinian kingdoms. But he made a confusion by mixing Axumite kingdom with Abyssinian kingdoms. Axumite kingdom was a separate dynasty of city-states which were on present-day Eritrea and Tigray (northern Ethiopia). It is after its fall that the people transferred their knowledge and skill to the southern people. And it would have given a better image if he travelled more north to Adulis (port of Axumite kingdom), to make the connections to the other world like Greeks and Romans.
