u r right. That's how i make it too. I cook the onions first wuhaw mitit iskil dires. Then add zeit and berbere. We don't add tomato paste because it makes it taste sweet. I guess everybody has their own way of cooking doro wot including the spices they use.
some of you here tried to tell her different recipe but we here to learn from her we don't need your opinion thank you mother you are the best remember this is her Channel she trying to teach us thank you again

Ginger paste, berbere, korarima is cardamon, you'll need to get all of that from a Habesha/African store or an Indian store. Also, you'll need injera and kibbeh (the butter). Not regular butter you need Ethiopian butter for it to taste right. You can also make your own injera, a very good tutorial is on his channel :) and you can make kibbeh yourself but the easiest way is to buy it from the stores mentioned above

No! No! No! this is not Doro wet....should be 3 kilo onion minimum. That is the amount of onion my Mom use for shiro. but i respect your way of doing. love Moms , "melkam gena mother"
