I remember seeing a video of Etosha called Place of dry water, years ago Wonderful and morale raising to see and hear the wildlife in that great ecosystem still flourishes.Love the Tsessebe and the lilac breasted rollers and bee eaters. The leopard was superb.

My first time to Namibia an old man told me "When God created Namibia, he was pissed"! But I never saw that way. I spent alot of my free time on a farm in southern Namibia. I traveled to Karasburg, Ai Ais, Woendhuk as well as spent a total of 2 weeks in a Himba Tribe in the Upper Etosha Pan. I miss it and after 11 trips, I think I left a part of me there. Anyway, a wonderful video and it brought back some wonderful memories. Thank you!

Hi! Thanks for watching my video and I’m happy to hear that it brought you some great memories. I think Namibia is amazingly beautiful country and can’t wait to it more. This was my first trip, there’s so much more to see. Next trip will be towards the end of the year. I’m sure your time with Himba tribe has been something very special that you’ll never forget. Not too many people will have that kind of experience.

Hi Sara, amazing video. I found it on search because I am planning to go in January and just heard from all the travel websites that you see no animals and that it rains all the time. Clearly your video proves this is not the case. Do you mind me asking how long you went for? Thanks!

Thanks for your comment. From human point of view it’s sad to see it happen, but lions are carnivores and have to eat to survive. Only nature.
