Hi neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're talking Bulletproof Hitches, specifically the two ball option for a two and a half by two and a half inch hitch. This guy's rated at 22,000 pounds and the nice two ball option in here will let you choose either the 2 and 5/16 or the 2 inch. If you're using the 2 inch, it's rated at 12,000 pounds. If you're using the 2 and 5/16, it's rated 22,000 pounds. Now it has a nice maximum rise of 17 inches and a maximum drop of 17 and 1/4 inches.
So if you got that lifted truck, SUV, or whatnot, this will probably be a great option for you. You've got nine different nine hole positions all the way through there. You can see 'em a little better now. Nine different positions, keep in mind it's every two pins to do one, so do the math. And it's a nice option, again, like I said, for those lifted trucks, trailers, whatever, and it's a nice heavy duty steel construction with a heat treated powder coated finish here.
Everything is nice. It's got a nice, well, it's like a grip finish to it. It's hard to explain. It's a little less than, like, a undercoating or something, but it's a nice kind of grip material. You also get the Bulletproof anti-friction grease.
That's gonna be great for greasing up the ball. You always wanna grease the ball before you use it. Make sure you got grease there, that way when you put the coupler on, it's not making a lot of noise and it's gonna eliminate a lot of those noises and just make it easier to to spin inside the coupler. The whole thing is SAE J 684 certified. Again, you got a maximum drop of 17 and 1/4 inches and if you use it in the rise, you get 17 inches.
Now the distance from the hitch pin hole to the hitch ball, center to center from the closest one, is 11 3/4 inches, and the farthest pinhole back to the center of the ball is 13 and 1/4 inches. The overall height is 21 and 3/4 of an inch, and the total length with the ball on there from here to the back of the hitch is gonna be 18 and 1/4 inches. Now without the ball mount on the front there, without this piece, just from here to the back, it's gonna be 13 and 3/4 inches. From the center of the of the gusset to the farthest hole is five inches. From the center of the gusset to the center pinching hole is three and a half inches. Now lemme throw up an image here of some different dimensions for you. And you can pause this and get those dimensions if you need it, otherwise they're on the site as well. The pins that hold the head in place are nice corrosion-resistant pins and clips. They have a nickel undercoat with a zinc top coat finish that's gonna resist corrosion and also ensure strength and longevity of the pins themselves. Now it does not come with a hitch pin and clip, that's sold separately. I recommend you get a lockable version. That way no one can take your investment, right Well folks, that will wrap it up for our look at this nice limited lifetime warranty Bulletproof Hitch. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching. Stay safe out there while you're towing, folks.
