Hey guys, Jim from Import Image Racing here, and welcome back to the channel! In this week's video, we're taking a look at the ETS Cold Air Titanium Intakes for the 2022 to present Subaru WRX. Before diving into the differences, let's explore the similarities between this intake system and the standard cold air intake from ETS. Both intakes feature a 3-inch draw pipe that connects to ETS's signature 5-inch aluminum Venturi MAF housing, coupled with a proprietary Largemouth air filter, couplers, and mounting hardware, plus the optional enclosed airbox. Most of this kit mirrors the already wildly popular ETS intake, with one key exception: burnt titanium pie cuts. You also have the option of a brushed titanium look if that suits your needs better.
Here’s my hot take on this titanium intake option: with the same great power and performance achievable between the stainless and titanium options, it really comes down to looks. However, when combined with the optional intake airbox, most of the titanium disappears. I would recommend this intake if you want to match your draw pipe to other titanium accents and maybe skip the optional shielding, or if you’re the kind of person who likes to go all out with no compromise.
