So happy that Carlos Rodriguez had improved Li na's composure and consistency especially on those important points...

Even as an 18-year-old who was still playing juniors, Genie was not that far away from Li Na and hung tough. She lost in straight sets, but the match wasn't a blow out.

Genie just wasn't in her game against Na Li at the Aussi open '14 semi. Give her a break...it was a first for her...she was obviously totally flustered in the first set. Made it close in the second set but she was mentally out of it, though. I fully expect to come back and show her real game soon at her next Grand Slam Semi. Go Genie !!

I expected nothing more from Bouchard, a privileged white kid from Westmount with rich parents all the advantages in the world and still lose. Smh

We cant blame her parents or her 'advantages' for her loss...She lost because she wasn't strong enough as a player for Li Na...that's it.

Your analysis is shallow and yet vile and incorrect. Bouchard came from a high rent neighbourhood for sure but her childhood was not privaleged nor was her family supportive. She came from a broken family and had little emotional support or encouragement from family. Many other tennis players cite the support from parents and siblings in their development. Genie hardly knows her siblings and this is well documented. What she achieved was by her own personal fortitude and dedication all by her own self. She was basically raised by her Mom who had little understanding of what Genie was attempting. Her coach in her development was more of a Dad to her that her biological father. Too many Internet trolls have no idea what they are talking about but are agressive bullied. What Genie achieved is phenomenal given the obstacles she faced. Other kids in her circumstances would have been hanging out in malls all day.

Genie is the worst player ever to play tennis in the world. Bad attitude and manners. She has no talent. Should just stay at home and try to keep her pretty face to herself. No skill. However, she is good at criticizing and blaming other players in the circuit.
