[Link in description] Check out Dr. Chris White comparing our new ACB Doubler's Euphonium to his own Yamaha YEP-321 (technically a Bach 1110)! Let us know what you think in the comments!
The ACB 5 mouthpiece will be used on both horns in this video just to remove another variable for the comparison.

Both instruments are primarily yellow brass. Both are available in clear lacquer and silver plate, but the doubler is also available in satin lacquer.
The Yamaha has an 11-inch bell and takes a small shank mouthpiece. The Doubler's has a 12-inch bell and takes a large shank mouthpiece. These aspects of the horns give the Doubler's a slightly fuller sound while still having good projection.
Both are 4 valve horns, but the Yamaha is an in-line non-compensating setup. On the Doubler's, the valves are in a 3+1 setup and it's fully compensating. That gives the Doubler's an easier intonation. Keep in mind that Chris has been playing on his Yamaha for several years and is used to making the necessary adjustments.
Chris thinks the Doubler's has a darker sound without sacrificing resonance or projection, and likes the compensating system for easier low register intonation. Let us know what you think in the comments!
