British engineering at its best, I wish this aircraft was combat ready when I was in the RAF 20 years ago.

The sooner we're out of that EU the better , no more dictation and get Britain back to what it was ! Then we'll produce OUR aircraft as we want !

@@nicholasdavies8795 You could have so right now but ok. By the way, this was not an EU project.

I would hope Mr. Seddon also meant along with the engineering of the European partners, these projects are far too expensive now for small countries to go alone. Nimrod MR 4 for example. Oh by the way, am a Brit.

@BesteKanaal1 He didn't say it wasn't European. He said 'British engineering at its best'. Britain and England are not the same... Idiot!!

So they've black-based it, colour coated it, then Johnsons Klear. Applied decals. No panel-line wash? No weathering? C'mon, chaps. Half a job.

If those wings are made in France, I reckon if we assembled them backwards, our typhoons would go even faster.

I do believe a walk down the BOEING assembly line could streamline you production process a lot....... I like the jet but the process needs some improvement... and a hand crank winch ? really.

It takes about 10 minutes to winch an engine into position. An engine change can be done in about 4 hours start to ready for engine run. Its held in by 2 bolts a clamp around the circumference of the intake and two half inch pip pins. A couple of fuel pipes a wiring harness and an auxiliary drive shaft and that's it. Like to know how you smart arse yanks would simplify it

YEP..... BUT... They will resolve the stupid issues they created sometime... I think they pushed that plane OTD way to fast and got caught in a nightmare situation.... they should have had some of the Garmin Electronic Engineers come in and look at what they had long before the first one flew.
