I saw this on 5th gear recharged. It is so familiar as went to the artic circle last June in my ev6. Even stated in the same hotel in trondhiem and Rognan and used the same chargers up to Rognan. It was a brilliant place to road trip and the ev6 is great to travel long distances, I did 3850 miles. No need to limit heating or ac. Had v2l so had a kettle for tea and coffee plus a fridge in the boot. 80 kph limit of the motorways in Norway so very relaxing plus a blast on the autobahns getting to and from. To me a perfect car to grand tour with.

So far I’ve learned nothing. What was your consumption? How long did the charges take? What is the real world range? How much did the charging cost? Did you have to contact various hotels to know if they had a charger? Did you have to pay the hotel for the charging? The list goes on and on… is it actually useful to have 600hp in an electric car, when the range dips drastically dependent on how you use it?

As a consumer looking for an electric car, I've driven the following: - Tesla 3 - Tesla Y - Polestar 2 - VW ID 3 - VW ID 4 - Hyundai Ioniq 5 - Kia EV6 And I don't see why you would get an EV6 over an Ioniq 5. Like at all. The Ioniq 5 is superior to the EV6 in pretty much every way. Obviously the GT trim is not made for the range but for the performance in mind, whereas the long range EV6 can run way more than 300 miles with its mere 77kWh battery. Instead of this pathetic and malicious attempt, why don't you put this machine to a drag test against Porsche Taycan? Afraid, aren't you? You just can't keep up with the latest technology, so all you can do is to discredit the competitor? Of course I'm not saying it's O.K. for a performance EV to be rather a short range, but in fact, it's more of a signature model showcasing KIA's state of the art EV technology.
