Not bad looking cells & very chunky posts, nice busbars, a bit suspect on the bloating tho. Daly are not very good at balancing these cells unless you have an active balancer as well. JK are a very good BMS with a nice BT App and active balancers that work well for this application, but if you are only running light loads, it should be fine. At 3.45v a cell can be completely charged, but it takes a while, so start ur balancing at 3.45v/cell (or just below this), taking them up when the charging amps taper off in .05v increments to 3.55v/cell or 3.65v/cell max, but 3.55v/cell is plenty for a full capacity top balance without stressing the cells unnecessarily. We’re they sent to you as 70A cells? as in your description? because they appear to be labelled as 105A cells. Hope they work out ok for you. Cheers

Thanks for info and advice, yes duty will be light max 15 amps for short duration. Cells labelled 70 amp with up to 1.5 C discharge. Fingers crossed on bloating hope due to long storage ? but capacity tests should show some light on this.

they look like grade B cells, I don't see the original QR code any where, there is an app you can download see if you can read it. Perform tests for sure.

Foxfried you could be right though CWL state they carryout testing and quality control and only purchase from the most reputable manufacturers. Hope to carryout capacity test shortly. Bar codes on cells show TJYL 3.2 v 224 Wh plus a long set of numbers.
