Talk about a song going to another level live. This is just unbelievable in every sense.

This is an astounding performance, and Annie Lennox looks absolutely stunning, and she has such a precise command over her voice that it seems inhuman. I remember this song very well, when I was a young teenager, and it just ripped through you every time you heard it, and the way she says certain notes sounds like the wind, agonizing with her, over her angst ridden love. I have never heard a voice like this in my life, when I first heard it, and I probably will never hear one like this again. Of course, we are all individuals, but Annie Lennox is one of the greatest singers of all time , and I still love this song, today, & the great Annie Lennox.🌟🎁💜

Oh, gosh, forgive me, I forgot to write how astounding the addition of the saxophone sounds in this song, and it completely reinvented the song while maintaining its initial integrity. Love it.🎁🕊🌟

I stood at the front leaning on the stage at sweetwaters NZ Pukekawa in the early 80's during this song. I t was mesmerising and wonderful. Still have the concert brochure.

This show (via VHS unfortunately) was the first time I encountered Clem Burke and I was blown away with the sixteenths he played through the entire song. Then I found out where he built that stamina...

Underated comment.. Kinda like his guitar playing.. A powerhouse of the 80's will never get on a top 100 because he had THE greatest singer (maybe of 2 or 3, Alison Moyet and Tony Hadley or Terrence Trent Darby) of that generation.

I have said this a thousand times, and I will say it a thousand more, This is a rock n roll masterpiece! It just may be the best ever. Annie and Dave should be bustin' a gut proud of it. And now, it's up here in this fine form...CLEAR TO SEE. Thank you very much!

The guitar sounds thin .... Wonder if a soulful player like John fruscwnte from red hot chili peppers could make this song away better... Like old soul recorded. Lie Parliament and funkadelix... Why anyone would want a garbage no tone.Sound is beyond me ... Annie is great.. but that guitar isn't rock n roll.. it's trash... guess it was the safe overproduxed sterile sound that was the typical 80s sound... The leads not bad..but ty heirs no tone In it... Think Jimi Hendrix or prince or Santana. Or. Stevie ray.. or Eddie van Halen.. he played on beat it. By Michael Jackson ... It still had soul and feel In the tone.... Oh well.. glad that other guitar players moved away from this example of sterile tone...... A weak point in an otherwise great performance... Take note guitar player and producers...
