Arguably one of the most beautiful songs ever written. You guys smashed it.

My god how wonderful this is. Evan Dando and Juliana Hatfield, i'd give alot to experience them perform again on stage.

Emmy Lou and Gram, that's a tough act to follow. Respect for trying it, got pretty close to the magic of the original

Yikes. This sounds like slow motion. Is he ok here? When was this shot?

All respect for those trying, but it does not cut the original. His vocal is too ragged to put the tune across. It sounds like he's half asleep and misses too many notes. Wake up, Evan!

He could’ve sang a little harder, kinda whispering

I appreciate the attempt to cover a GP Classic, but- somethings are better left untouched, unscathed; so as not to tarnish the brilliance of a Masterpiece. In other words- Evan Butchered a Great Classic of a Genius song by an Epic Legend (GP); so quickly ruined and destroyed. Damn it!! Take a tip- Leave Gram Parsons Alone. No one comes close to the Fallen Angel...

Cmon man that;s really miserable. Hats off to the band and the fine harmonies. Even the flaws were beautiful - a la Gram.

I agree that Gram's version was a tortured masterpiece, but to me covers are a healthy sign that his music lives. Gram actually did a lot of covers himself.
