Evan i have been focusing more on my micro nutrients lately based on info you gave out in previous videos and i have noticed huge changes in energy in and outside of the gym. elias bro there's meat on his table. "Nutrition" and health are irrelevant at this point. All protein comes from plants and plant protein will always be more superior spirulina carries over twice as much protein than steak per 100 grams. There's a difference in trying to bulk up the basic American way, then there's the educated all aspect overall strength which gives you higher athletic performance in multiple fields and not just basic mass and bulk

By far the most competent bodybuilder on nutrition, who also explains it so well. Only disagree on saturated fats -- clog arteries and carcinogic, i.e. red meat, whole milk. Centopani is Bodybuilding Nutrition for Dummies. I started adding greens to each main meal because of Evan. Love every episode. Thanks!

I just discovered this channel and this video really helped me understand the importance of all these macro calories. I just recently got a personal trainer and I was getting so frustrated with hitting all my macros and why I needed to consume so much. Yes, she was helping me understand a little bit of why I need to hit them but you gave a deeper understanding to really WHY I need to hit them. This video really motivated me and helped me! I hope that you keep making videos!

Hi Evan. Big fan from India. Since you love rice, you should try the Sona Mussorie rice which is the daily driver for a Billion people. We don't consume a lot of basmati, not for the price, but the digestability of sona mussorie is much better than Basmati. Also, you should try to rinse the rice after it is cooked. That is when the real texture and taste of rice comes out.

He seems rather thoughtful intelligent and super cool and down to earth. But that's how all us CT cats are tho I've relocated out of the nutmeg st. As someone who almost had weight loss surgery 95% of what you said in this video is what my dietician told me. Especially the choosing nutrient dense food. I didn’t do the surgery because I had more success with visits to the dietician + changing the way I eat + keeping track of what I eat and when and exercise. I have lost so far 77lbs. Very informative video. I subbed immediately.

I love what you do for us, Evan, and I love your attitude. You're indeed a great symbol of this sport. There's a lot of vids out there when it comes to exercises but your knowledge in nutrition is more rarely shared which is a shame because this is also what bodybuilding is about. Plus, everyone can take your advices to improves the daily life. I've watched every vid of yours with pleasure, going through the hassle of translating some food stuff because english isn't my first language. Hell I even wrote things down to remember, I never do that. It's kinda frustrating when I can't find here what you show in your videos but I've become a lot more aware of what I'm buying, which is good. Right now I'm resting due to a serious shoulder injury but I can't wait to be back and get my diet in check and smash the hell out of some weights. Just like you. Keep it up, I wish you the best!

This is was really informative video. I started a workout regiment roughly 4 months ago. I also changed my diet. I did iifym for a long time and I made a tone progress and felt great. Especially when I was training for crossfit. But I was eating around 5000 calories a day and most of it was still quality. But ever since I've switched back to this style of eating with my bodybuilding coach. I feel better then ever and my body looks better then ever only 6 months into bodybuilding again. Its amazing what real nutrition can do.

Great to see my favourite series is coming back! Never hurts to go over the basics. Something I’m experimenting with at the moment is sourdough, lower in gluten than most breads and there’s some evidence that it has some anti inflammatory properties. Not to mention tastes great with some eggs post workout!

I’m not super knowledgeable about this kind of stuff. But from personal experience, Italian and Japanese seem to be the healthiest to make homemade and eat. Not to mention, I put on 20 lbs easy by eating Italian and Japanese. So yeah it works. :) Awesome video btw! I’m glad us youngsters got this kind of content available to us.

a lot of long distanse runner using keto diet. couse it gives them a lot of energy during running. im miself in deep nutritional ketosis for almoust a year now and it feels grate...other coachs asking me all the time "how can you squat 200 kg for 10 reps without carbs "...easy ! carbs helps whith muscle growth but you can do it with keto as well and those gains very lean. first it was hard but when i found out my electrolites requaerments and fully adopted to keto its changed my life ! i have tonnes of energy trouht the day , always riped and eating only 2-3 time a day . sometimes i have to force miself to eat becouse simply doesnt have an appetite
