This is the experience of every single sparring partner he had. All of us were suffering day to day on a horrific level. His full power jab was as hard as Tua's left hook. @@berserk9085 I didn't say anything about age. I said he shouldn't have been able to beat either one. A 10 year age gap between someone 22 and 32 should've fallen in Liston's favor. His physical decline should've barely started and Ali's inexperience should've more than made up for the difference. Sonny was widely regarded as unbeatable at that time, and honestly, had a 6 ft 3 inch ballerina not came along-- he probably would've been. No one else could've unseated Liston. Foreman had just made his march to the top that was almost devastating as Listons, and made light work of Joe Frazier. Ali at 32 was an easily different fighter than he was at 22-- however Foreman was 27, so he was still in peak condition and was a more seasoned fighter that absolutely demolished fighters that gave Ali some trouble. People were fearing for Ali going into this fight-- and he managed to pull off both. Calling him "overrated" is insane.

Evander Holyfield is the most underrated Heavyweight champion of all time. His athleticism was unmatched as was his ability to fight taller, longer and bigger opponents with perfect distance control.

Holyfield did what Moorer should have done. After he got got ahead in points, he pretty much tied George up and stayed away from him. Evander said in interviews that he knew Foreman was going to try and knock him out. George said his biggest mistake was letting Holyfield feel his power too early and if he ever got another chance at the title he would slowly bait them in.

An old George used the wrong style against a moving target - the cross-arm defense, which restricted his ability to counterpunch, swiftly, on demand. Against Michael Moorer, he adjusted - no cross-arm defense posture. Hollyfield needed to give the old man much more credit; George never promoted his strength; he demonstrated it lethally. ""The difference is" that Hollyfield did fight an old man who was returning to boxing after a ten-year retirement and becoming a pastor; a youthful George Foreman would have annihilated Hollyfield in the manner he did Joe Frasier, twice, Ken Norton and many others. Nonetheless, Hollyfield is way up there with the great boxers.😅🎉😂

@m42037 Rather, he calculatedly took his time, and got leverage to demolish his runners - even as an amateur he did intentionally a la Sonny Liston, a la Rocky Marciano, et al😮
