I started playing EVE Online on April 23rd 2003 my corp would start the day with about 6-7 apocs with 8 miners 2's and 10 mining drones each and strip belts but we wouldn't strip the best belts till the end of the week to allow the Roids to grow. PS My Apoc right now is called "2003 Mining Barge" Back when Domi Drone boats ruled, 5 for max drones +5 for max advanced drones and 5 for having Gallente Battleship level 5 you got 1 extra drone per level giving you a max of 15 at once. I remember seeing 6 Domi's maxed out running a level 5 mission It was a blood bath even the Domis had to retreat a few times I lasted long enough to say "That's a lo...." and the rest was me sitting in a pod watching.

I enjoyed the video, but thought I'd leave a few pointers! You don't need to be cap stable. Overloading modules is a thing, get thermodynamics skills, also linked to first point. Range on guns, can shoot out to optimal + 2x falloff but damage is almost nothing at that range. Optimal + 1/2 falloff is where you can hit out to while still getting 75% of dps numbers, optimal + falloff is only 50% damage. T2 minmatar ships have great shield resistance profiles so think about getting some shield skills if you are looking to go T2. 3/10 can actually be more profitable than 4/10 due to 3/10 dropping A-type and 4/10 dropping C type, but 4/10 can drop medium sized modules (3/10 only small) so depends on the loot fairy. After burners are a tank module with correct transversal management, MWD's are just for moving fast. The cyclone is the best ship ever (personal choice) But yes, I hope you enjoy and give me a shout if you ever need any tips from a bitter vet! Ruck

Yeah 3/10s are great. Fast to run, payout is pretty good, slightly less competition for the anoms that provide them. I don't think I need to be overheating for such low level PVE. Higher level DEDs or Abyssal, for sure. Cap does only need to last long enough to achieve the task at hand, but when farming (hopefully) dozens of anomalies back to back to back I like having plenty of cap for warping and running everything other than the MWD. I don't think I've sacrificed too many slots to cap on these fits. I know how guns work. See my turrets guide on this channel(!) Shields on a Rupture are kinda meh. Armor tank only needs 3 modules. 1 rep, 1 reactive hardener and 1 cap battery to run them. A shield fit would need more slots and take up lots of mid slots and I like my mid slots for application and targeting. Us bitter vets pick up all sort of tips and tricks. I'm a 2008 vintage. 😎 Cyclones are super sweet.

I have watched this series to learn what ratting is all about (still have to watch the last part) but oh my god, Abyss is so much more profitable and cosistent. And that comes from newbro in hookbill doing T1s Edit: ah, I see you finally got the deserved valuable loot from all those sites you did. It seemed really demoralizating doing like 14+9 sites and got nothing, while 23 T1 Abysses is like 90mils. Not sure about the timeline to compare them directly. 20 Abysses is like 4 hours

Abyss is more like a theme park rather than normal EVE. It gets boring quite quickly, at least I find it so. But I know many people really enjoy it.
