Hawker-Siddley are the best. Screw this garbage we have now. I'd rather have a corroding graffiti mess with one door open at the platform, than to deal with the endless technical problems this hunk of junk gives us 24/7/365.

Every metro in the Us that ordered from CRRC has faced issues or delays. With hitachi, stadler, Kawasaki building new factories we should instead switch to those firms.

Where I live we have had electric trains since the early nineties and the only problems happened since id about 20ish incidents of train problems. Only one derailment when a train was travelling at low speed at a deport and the whole train network halted due to electrical problems was abut how serious it got at max.

1st, this is months ago so this is before the roof at Downtown Xing. 2nd, we just got a new CEO, Phillip Eng who is doing everything he can with the new Governor Healey's extra funding so we have to just wait and see.

In DC, our trains can’t even stay on the TRACKS! Look at the 7k Series, which is 60% of the fleet and replaced the oldest train on the network, the least reliable and one that still had 23 years left of service life left.

and the 01200s in my opinion they for as old as they were even though they started to give problems they were as durable as it gets for trains I agree CCRC wasn't a wise choice to have them make the trains wasn't the delivery of these trains delayed because of defects or something while not even put into service yet like three years ago or something

@@mado3623 that is true there was also other companies like bombardier Kawasaki in my opinion I preferred bombardier the build the trains but unfortunately bombardier was bought out in 2020

You said bombardier was bought out , that means that company no longer exists or it does but it's under a different name? The redline bombardier trains I still get excited when I see those things some of the best ever I truly miss the 01200s so much ahh the memories I wish I could ride them once again

@@mado3623so when I said bombardier was bought out in 2020 it was bought by the same company who overhauled the MBTA Green Line Type 7's if anything the only reason why no other company was chosen was because the MBTA didn't want to spend that much money which is the same reason why the Red Line 1800s themselves are not getting overhauled
