We vacation at Indian rocks Beach Florida. It looks like it’s only about 68 miles from Sarasota. Would you consider taking a drive to go see the damage from the hurricane in that area? Much appreciated.

Good for you for buying your shirts from Walmart. They fit you well and truthfully you always look nice. Thank God I'm retired and no longer have to put up with the clothing snobs I used to work with. Happiest day of my life when I left the office for the last time. I too now shop at Walmart, I find beautiful clothes that I'm often complimented on. And I have found beautiful clothes at thrift stores in my area as well. I love the retired life.

I just watched a channel on Siesta Key Sarasota. Guy walked in for miles, past police blockade to check on elderly friend. Totally flooded out, water was up past middle of doors. I've been concentrating on way up north, near landfall,Taylor/ Dixie county, but damage is staggering in south. I'm afraid people were swept out into Gulf, judging from comments...

It’s devastating in the Appalachian mountains. We got 7-1/2” of rain and high wind that brought down many trees. Bridges and roads collapsing, mudslides. So much devastation. Our power companies always send trucks south to help but now we need help. Power will be off days to weeks with all the trees that are down.

Hurricane Helene 🌀 was really a worst case scenario, for all States it impacted. Tremendous flooding in Georgia+ Carolinas. Hang in there, and try to avoid travel, lot of trees dropping+ flash flooding into next week.

@@SarasotaTim still breezy and expecting more rain starting tonight thru Wednesday but not the storms and downpours we got the last few days. The first few days were from another system before Helene came through. We’ve been in a drought all summer. That’s over so at least something good came out of this mess.

🤠 Ok, I'll get to the 30Amp gimmick, won't be dawn for while here.Left a comment when I woke up,then watched more hurricane damage videos. Good thing this is also a ☕ channel, was drinking it for 24 hrs day, tracking 🌀 Helene, waiting for ☕now. Sounds like ya might want to plug into a different 30 Amp plug,it's probably issue with one on same service as the 50. What happens a lot,is people drive off from campsites ,still hooked into receptacle, and damage it.Doest take much to short them. Anyways, on travelin, my take is don't skimp on hauling some water,at least 20 gallons. Big thing, for new Glampers, is dumpin black+ gray tanks, before travel, to avoid possible trailer sway from excessive weight behind axle(s). Ya never know if tow vehicle might break down, at least ya can hang out for awhile,,with water onboard, in comfort.. I don't worry about milage, MAGA 🇺🇲 "Drill Baby Drill"...😃

🤠 It's always good to be able to bug out, regardless of what State. The key is leaving early, before the crowds do. The freedom of moving to many locations, with the seasons (Snowbirding) is good for retirees. Devastating flooding on coastal areas of Tampa Bay, and gets even worse for 200 coastal miles north,to where Cat 4 🌀 Helene made landfall.

Happy to see you home safe and sound Tim. You made the correct call by bugging out for a couple days. I’m looking forward to your upcoming grilling videos. The news and social media like to “HYPE” up all natural disasters and keep people in fear. Prayers for the folks in the areas most negatively impacted by Helene. 🙏🏻
