Enjoyed the video. Nice work on the madrone. Love the Jay. Nice to have a friend visit on the job.

That's a bird you will remember. Pretty cool bird. My girlfriend works with me almost everyday. I haven't gotten her used to the ropes yet but she will clean a yard so good that the grass will shine

The Jay was a Steller's Jay. Blue Jays are fairly uncommon in western Oregon. Both species of jays can be trained to take food from people's hands. I suspect it was looking for a handout.

Yeah, that was about the only good run I did 😅all the other ones were not the greatest. I only stand 5’2 n 1/8 so it’s really challenging for me to reach the limbs:pieces also, the tips on that Madrone just kept breaking and just wasn’t great Drop zone there was a lot of factors on the ropes that day that made it a bit challenging and frustrating.

Besides those multi-hole rigging blocks, the Petzl L1D pulley is all I've used for more friction up in the tree. Well, besides using branch nubs and such. The pulley certainly nice for stuff that isn't too big. Will have to see how that prototype works out though.

I was doing a job on a big property 5 years ago .. dragging brush and noticed a blue jay hanging around being very friendly.. took lunch in the old international chip truck .: the blue jay landed on mirror and door frame .. then it hoped into cab with us and was sitting on the steering wheel and walking along dashboard!! It was very very cool .. still have a few old pictures of it ..: 🎉❤

@@jeffschroeder9089 Maybe once a summer we'd clean out our big stock tank so we could play in it a few days before letting the cows back at it. Cool MT nights means the fun wears off pretty fast because of the cold water.

Maasdam is perfect for those little back leaners and faster than screwing around with a throw ball. Just rap as high as you can reach. But you need an anchor. Curious if you’d be that nice to your ground person if they weren’t a DEI hire? 😁😉👍🏼👍🏼
