March, in the eastern half of the United States is generally a slow period for tourist railroads, and steam operations in particular. So when the Everett Railroad, in Hollidaysburg, PA, announced the Cabin Fever Express trips, for one day only in the middle of March, it was easy to decide where to go that day. With remnants of a heavy March snowstorm on the ground, 2-6-0 #11 put on her usual show, carrying full trains of passengers from Hollidaysburg to Brookes Mills and return. As a bonus, the engine had to return to her shops in Claysburg, PA at the end of the day - going further than the normal passenger trips. This meant another round of pacing with the GoPro. While the footage is a little shaky at the end, it is still a fantastic experience overall. Enjoy footage from the Everett Railroad's Cabin Fever Express!
