This review was incredibly well done . I’ve had the bag for about 3 weeks and I absolutely love it . Thank you for helping me shop wisely ‘!

I bought a gray one when I was looking for a minimalist backpack. I love the design, especially the front. Just 2 pockets for form and function. I also like how it looks like a sack, but works like a traditional backpack. Just wish there was more padding for the laptop area and the bottom for when you wanna drop your backpack down without having to worry about your stuff.

Thanks for the review! I was needing a bigger backpack, wanted to spend under $100, and, partially thanks to this review, I went with this one. I'm very pleased with it so far. I love the pockets, the luggage pass-through, and the laptop sleeve. I also love that the pack itself is lightweight, and that when not full the size flattens down and doesn't look ridiculously big on me. I do wish the straps were a bit more ergonomic, though. I sometimes use it for carrying groceries, and the straps can dig into my shoulders if I really load it up. But for under $100, it's well-made, attractive, and I like that it's made with recycled materials. This is a backpack I can really use for everything - EDC, travel, and grocery runs. Also, looks like they just came out with a 13" laptop version as well which is 18L instead of 27L. It's not for me, as I really like the large capacity, but the shoulder straps would be less of a problem, since it can't physically hold as much weight.

This is a fantastic review! After weeks of research, this might be The One. Now to see if Everlane ships to Australia...

Fabulous review, very well done and thorough. I do like this backpack a lot, but I prefer having a little bit more organization for small items and a hidden pocket for a passport.

Great review. I’ve been waiting for a decent in-depth video on this, thank you. I’m interested to see what you have to say about the mover pack from Everlane as well.

I'm looking for a stylish bag that will be good for college and while this bag looks great (I saw it on a website listing some of the best backpacks for 2023), I don't think it will fit my needs. I'd like a few more compartments, though the false bottom for the laptop section is something I'd never thought of, so now I'll be keeping an eye out for that! Very detailed review, you did an amazing job!

Thank you! For stylish bags in the same vein as Everlane you might want to also look at the Chrome Industries Ruckas 23L or the Troubadour Bivy Tote Backpack. There will be links for both in the video description. The Bivy Tote is one of our favorites bags since it blends great style with function but it is more expensive 😩

@@Backpackies Thank you, I'll check those out as well! I just got done looking at the Venture Pals backpacks, as they're suspiciously cheap for all the things it claims it can do, but...they seem to like to do their advertising via "influencers" and so now it's a mine field to find a video of a truly honest review. I don't mind a more expensive bag (erm, so long as it's not *too* expensive, lol. At the end of the day, this will be my daily backpack for school), so thank you for those recommendations!

Just received this, so disappointed in how uncomfortably large it is (almost the size of my carry-on suitcase) 😭 Definitely not a "nice in-between size" - I'm 5'7" and it covers the length of my back and more. The upper holder scratches the back of my neck. The adjusting straps dangle almost down to my knees. I cannot imagine this on someone shorter than my height. You can easily fit a 17-inch laptop in the compartment (with sleeve and all). Also, the capacity is almost pointless since it doesn't have any organisational pockets. I don't see how you could use it unless you stuff it with packing cubes. Shame. It would have been absolutely lovely in a smaller size. Wish they hadn't stopped making the 13-inch version.
