Good idea but it's clear you didn't do much research, which is a shame. There have been heaps of brothers playing footy together. Perhaps you should re-title this "A few examples of AFL brothers - who may or may not have the right surnames". The Swans brothers mentioned here are Tom and Patrick (Paddy) McCartin, not McCartney. While looking at the Swans you missed Keiren Jack and his younger brother Brandon who played together, as did Ted Richards and his younger brother Xavier. Jason Mooney left the Swans to join younger brother Cameron at Geelong. Anthony Rocca left the Swans to join older brother Saverio (Sav) Rocca at Collingwood. Current premiership player Sam Reid of the Swans is the younger brother of Collingwood premiership player Ben Reid. Lots of brothers in other clubs too. At Brisbane, Brett Voss joined his Brownlow Medallist older brother Michael for a few years before opting to move to the Saints for more games at the end of 2000 (and probably to get out of his brother's shadow). The move was bad timing as from 2001-2003 Michael Voss led Brisbane to an incredible three-peat of premierships, the first such in the AFL era. As well as the brothers Gary (Jnr) and Nathan Ablett who won a premiership together at Geelong, their father Gary Senior started at Hawthorn with two of his brothers Kevin and Geoff before he moved to Geelong. He later played with Kevin at Geelong too. Around the same time, Steve Hocking played at Geelong with his brother Garry. There are heaps more brothers if you take a good look.
