Omg the sleep issues are real - my partner will make me cuddle into their shoulder, fall asleep in seconds… It’s been about 15 minutes im just falling asleep and then his shoulder twitches and he launches my head into the air … wide awake again 😩 😂 It seems like all couples have a good sleeper and an absolute stress sleeper 🤷♀️

Min 50:00-ish: Comedy.... my favorite thing. I've been to Denver Comedy Works club a couple of times, and laughed a lot, great audience both times. Phil Rosenthal wrote my favorite books on comedy writing, You're Lucky You're Funny, which I've re-read numerous times. After I read it the first time, I thought I might try newbie night, but reality set in... I am not funny. Not even a tiny bit, but I do LOVE funny. Laughter IS, in fact, the best medicine. I generally give comedians a gigantic break, especially internet personalities, like y'all. My line with KZitem talent is hard to cross because it easily shifts at my liking so even though some content is "not for me" or someone (other comedian or comedy group) does or says something unacceptable adjacent, in my view, I won't abandon them. I've been super mad at jokes made by favorite comedians, so I was mad for a while, big deal. That was on me or for me to work out. I'm glad I didn't bail on a most, because I love seeing their current success, think Mike Falzone. Gosh, all this comedy talk is making me miss @midnight, making hashtags with their audiences was SO MUCH fun. Good times. Don't stop what you are doing, because you're good at it.

It's putting any woman's purse on the ground. It allegedly dirties it. And some believe it's bad luck. Not cultural. Fyi, putting shoes on the table is also a no no. Bad luck.

MEXICAN PERSPECTIVE: (Or at least some latinas in general) Putting their purse on the floor is equivalent to putting your feet/shoes on their kitchen table. Not all of us care about this- but it's definitely a thing.
@zbetsaida
Жыл бұрын
I'm Mexican. She might have thrown the word Mexican in there because she felt Jake was devaluing her purse and felt race had something to do with it. Placing a purse on the floor, especially an expensive purse shows lack of etiquette (in general, not specifically in Mexican culture.) That's why there's a market for purse hooks and why women place their purses on separate chairs while dining out. I never evverrrr place my purse on the floor, but it's not something I'd expect a guy to know about, especially a guy like Jake who doesn't know about umbilical cords...😊
