Respectable list but also respectfully I don't think you have played much fallout 3 or 4. You have all 4 New Vegas dlcs on the top. No one's opinion is the absolute truth but as someone who has played over a 1000 hours on every open world fallout I disagree with putting all 4 in the top 4 (New Vegas does have the best game and overall dlcs but there are some gems in the other ones). Go play them more 😊

My top 12 12. Alaska dlc (only fun first time, completely not repeatable) 11. Automation (not a fan of no set new area to explore but cool robotic add-ons save it) 10. Mothership zeta (very cool first playthrough but again not a lot of replayability and buggy) 9. Broken steel (now we enter good dlcs (no fallout dlcs truly suck though)) plays like COD but at least it's fun even with a lack of story. 8. Dead money... This is definitely my most controversial one. If I can only play each dlc once then dead money is actually my favorite but I'm accounting for the entirety of my experience with fallout (so many playthroughs) and dead money absolutely sucks after the first playthrough since once you leave you can't go back. It's a 5 hour chore in my playthroughs that I'm tired of. Still though it's so much fun the first playthrough I can't put it any lower. 7. Point lookout, it's a pretty good dlc but I don't understand why so many people have it number 2 or 3, still one of two truly good dlcs in fallout 3 so worth playing every time. 6. Honest hearts, Joshua Graham is my favorite character in the fallout universe (besides Fawkes) but the story is mid and the quests are one dimensional. 5. Nuka world, so so much fun and very replayable, I have fun every time playing this dlc however the searching for things is really only fun the first time. 4. The pitt, by far the best dlc in fallout 3, one of the only times an exploring task is super enjoyable (love finding all 100 bars and great design for the time) 3. Far harbour, great dlc but also overrated due to recency bias (swear so many people have this at number 1 but then proceed to explain how it has issues the best two don't) 2. Big mountain, the top two are interchangeable and more of a preference thing for most people and I do think that big Mt. Is the most fun dlc to replay over and over but its still not the best the first time you play it. 1. Lonesome road, it's the second best the first time you play it and has the second best replayability in my opinion. The buildup is intense and even though it's linear it's still extremely engaging and it feels important the whole time you are playing it.

Automaton isn’t a rehash of a quest from Fallout 3. Yes it has the Mechnist, but that’s it. In Fallout 3 you have to kill or convince the Mechnist and Antagonizer to stop fighting. In Fallout 4 you have to track down the Mechnist because he is unknowingly sending out robots to murder people, you have to stop him. Plus we get to make robots with the robot workbench, but I wish you could have made other robots from other Fallout games. Like Securitrons, eye bots, or the drones from Mothership Zeta that would have been cool.

If Automatron is just a rehash of a Fallout 3 mission, then the entire Fallout 4 main quest is just a rehash of a Fallout 3 quest (The Replicated Man) No what we got with Automatron is a bit bigger story that references a fun sidequest. Plus we can roleplay as superhero ourselves (with the Silver Shroud costume), instead of just watching two people larp in the wasteland. And yes, building robots, which fits in line with the settlement building mechanic. But I miss having a nice eyebot companion. Sure, you can craft a station through settlement building that sends out eyebots looking for look (that you still have to go and collect yourself) but I want a floating ball that zaps enemies and plays jingles when engaging combat.

9:48 This is a colossally stupid point to make, at least by those who found it too difficult. The reason for the difficulty and the enemies being hard to kill is all part of the survival aspect - not to mention the fact that you CAN kill the ghost people by dismembering them. As long as just one limb is cut or blown off, they're not getting back up. This is a skill issue if you ask me...

Honestly, of the NV DLC, alone, I would list them from most favorite to least favorite: Honest Hearts, Lonesome Road, Old World Blues, and Dead Money. The only reason why Dead Money was so low on the list for me was because of the enemies you have to face. The story was great and the survival aspects were solid. But it was just the least fun to play for me.

I have never disagreed more with a watch mojo video. For me, Lonesome Road was my favorite, simply because it felt like a perfect final challenge. I actually ended up reaching level 50 right as I persuaded Ulysseys. And although I’m not the biggest Joshua Graham stan, probably because I’m not religious, you cannot deny that he is one of the most interesting and inspiring characters in the entire fallout universe. So say that the dlc has no interesting characters would be doing the character such a major disservice… nuka world being above any of the new Vegas dlc is really weird. Yea this list is all kinds of wrong. Automatron a rehash from Fallout 3? Not even right. If it was a rehash there would have been someone as the Antagonizer and be very silly. Automatron had a more serious tone, added new mechanics on the robot workbench, and the only silly moment is if you wear the Silver Shroud Costume which is completely optional when you encounter the Mechanist. Operation Anchorage too linear? You’re portraying a soldier in a certain scenario in the war as part of a simulation. It’s going to be linear. Plus the payoff is great and it’s fun to lead a full team instead or just one or two companions. You shaft Honest Hearts and Lonesome Road when they tell interesting narratives (The Courier’s past in Lonesome Road) and great NPCs and location (Joshua Graham, Daniel and Zion National Park in Honest Hearts respectively).

I would go so far to say that all NV DLCs are good. Not equally, but good nonetheless. Yes, Old World Blues has lots of talking, which can be annoying on repeated play, but at least it's funny talking. And Dead Money has a nice story and the chance of more caps that you could ever spend, but can be mechanically challenging.
@HappyBeezerStudios

I totally understand why Old World Blues and Dead Money are so divisive. Old World Blues is a great silly story fun, but it starts with what is basically a gigantic cutscene. So it becomes tedious on repeated playthroughs. And Dead Money has so many inconvenient mechanics. You can't take any of your gear with you. Most of your skillset is irrelevant. And for the big payout you are forced to leave it overencumbered.

That's the thing about the big payout you are forced to leave behind. The whole theme of the DLC is about learning to let go and how greed can lead to a path of self-destruction. That's why, technically, you're not suppose to be able to leave with all the loot in the vault at the end. Granted, you still can with a few little tricks. But in the end, it's kinda pointless. You can sell the gold bars, sure. But vendors don't really end to carry the amount of caps the gold bars tend to be worth...so even selling them is going to not give you the fullest payout. Not to mention, you could always just gamble in the casino's and earn a large sum of caps that way...so it's not like you'd really need the gold in the end.
