Here are the places where my Adjusted Points+ metric (where 100 is Cup Series average) disagrees (minimum 15 races for a team): Childress: Brian Scott (41 Pts+ index) and Steve Park (53) were worse than Blaney (58). Roush: Good old Kevin Lepage (65) was worse than Dallenbach (68). Spire: Reed Sorenson (14) is the worst among qualified drivers (Houff was a 17 in only 13 races). Rick Ware: B.J. McLeod (17) was statistically worse than Cody Ware (25), but Cody Ware did it in more than double the races (and got himself suspended from the sport), so he makes sense as the pick. Kaulig: Gragson (39) was indeed worse than Justin Haley (79), though Haley was worst among 15+ race qualifiers. Wood Bros: Bill Elliott (43), of all drivers, was worse than Schrader (48). Elliott was in his 50s... but then again, so was Schrader. 23XI: Ty Gibbs (56) was WAY worse than Bubba Wallace (101). Gibbs has a lot fewer starts, but he snuck in under the 15-race minimum. Front Row/Bob Jenkins: Josh Wise (11) was worse than Kvapil (27), and he did it in 1 more start.

@@mikewagner9395not really. Mike skinner finished 2nd in cup races multiple times, finished 11th in points 1 year. Rcr is easily Dave blaney I mean wtf. Look up the rcr stats of blaney. Then look at skinner. Yeah. It’s obvious blaney

@@Denverbroncos87Blaney was 26th in points, in a year where Burton led all of seven laps, and Harvick had three top fives. Steve Park finished 2003 34th in owner points (albeit with Jeff Green also contributing), while Robby won twice and Harvick was contending for the championship. I'd call Park's stint the worst.

Penske has also had a fair share of bad drivers when it comes to their Indycar team in addition to NASCAR. However the worst one has to be Andre Ribero who only raced one season with Penske (1998) & he was awful as he only finished in the Top 10 three times, his highest finish was 7th at Vancouver & finished 22nd in the points that year which is totally unacceptable at a team like Penske. Then with Haas, it seems like every driver with their F1 team with the exceptions of Kevin Magnussen & Romain Grosjean have been terrible, especially Nikita Mazepin who easily has to be the worst driver to have entered F1 in the past 30 years.

Dylan Kwasnieski. No top 5s, only 3 top 10s in the two years he raced full time in the Xfinity. And if I remember correctly, if he wasn't wrecking himself, he was wrecking Kasey Kahne. He lost his sponsorship and was booted. Last I looked, he works in real estate. Then there's Jon Wes Townley. I don't need to say anything more.

Still say Yeyley was worse then Leffler. The 11 was new, so hiccups were expected. Yeyley took a literal Championship winning car and ran mid-to back of the pack almost every race. Then Busch took that same car and Dominated for YEARS.

I think you’re being a little harsh on Wally Dallenbach Jr. Pretty much everyone who entered the 25 car post Ken Schrader had a bad time. Randy Lajoie, Brian Vickers, Brad Keselowski, Joe Nemechek, Jerry Nadeau, and Chase Elliott. Casey Mears was the final driver to win in the 25.

To be fair to Schrader with wood brothers they were already going down the only thing that resurrected them was their alliance with penske with now champion Ryan Blaney and a little bit with old roush cars that got them the Daytona 500 win (David Ragan old car we all knew was fast)
