Dude your video’s are amazing, this video reminds me of being a student pilot flying from Ottawa to Vancouver, now on the bus I haven’t flown GA in years and vids like this make me long to go back to relaxed GA world. All the best with your flying in ORD on the ERJ hope you still get a chance to fly these old birds from time to time.

Swayne! Love following your adventure into aviation but like many ..will never get a chance in real life. But never fear avaition fans! Xplane 11 with VR headsets puts you INTO the cockpit and fly like the big boys, like Swayne! These games are not arcade games but as real as it can get with fully functioning cockpits and the Oculus Rift VR headsets make it feel unreal! DCSworld is another one you have to check out! So be a Swayne Martin and check out the above flight sims.

I've got the Widgeon in MSFS, and, after seeing another video you made about it, I got this exact paintjob for my MSFS Widgeon! Sadly, it doesn't have the 3-bladed props, or Lycoming engines, though :(. It's got 2-bladed wood props, and (I think they're called) Ranger engines (basically, it looks like it's powered by rubber bands). Also... 2:12

Hi I'm working on my private pilots license and plan to go through the Embry Riddle summer program to get ready for my solo (despite already being 16) and I was wonder what kind of limitations are set on student pilot solo's because none of my flight instructors have been too clear on this and I was wondering if you could give me a simple answer on what kind of limetations are set. Great videos thank you so much for sharing your experiences and happy flights!
@SwayneMartinPilot
9 жыл бұрын
+Camera Bird As a student pilot, once you have a solo endorsement from your instructor you'll be able to fly solo in the airport traffic pattern to practice landings and such. As you begin to fly solo away from the airport, you'll need separate endorsements for each and every flight away from the airport area. Also, as a solo student pilot, you can be the only soul aboard (no carrying passengers).

+Swayne Martin yeah I'm hoping to get my private pilots through Embry Riddle this year, half way there in hours. Hope to finish up by July unfortunately a year late but oh well better late than never :)

GamePlayWithNolan thats awesome, save as much as you can so you can get your PPL quicker :) I have heard flights schools can be difficult, I know at least where I live in southern MA flight schools are a lot of hands on (learning about all the parts) and classroom time. If you are like me and just want to go and fly I would recommend going to your closest airport (big or small) and asking for just flight lessons not an actual school. If you have any more questions feel free to ask and hope you find a good place to fly.
