The ones who thought their kid was the best and the ones who thought their kid was never in the wrong hated my guts. We were 14, playing AFL in seconds. I just happened to tackle their kid when they had the ball.

I don't see me in this - the one occasionally waving encouragingly from the car (where it's nice and warm), scrolling on my phone, drinking my skinny cap and always disappointed at how quickly the time "just flew by"

This explains why we left kids sport. At least our child totally understands why we’re not a sporting family.

The number of parents I had to boot out of locker rooms. What part of locker room is confusing. 👮😂

where are the ones who are the organiser/manager of their own kid? We bring the food, organise the transport, make sure the kit bag is filled correctly, know where the pitch is this week and how to find coffee nearby, find and supply the necessary medication (inhalers) , and if there is time, actually watch some of the game.

You missed the ones that get physical when a call doesn't go their way - I literally saw a mother try to take a swing at a dad from an opposing team during an U10 basketball game - not a pretty sight.

My son was so into the game we had to point which way he had to kick the ball on the odd chance it came near him, why he was playing a sport he had no interest in is to long a story to clutter up here, just to say it was not my idea.
