It has a built-in heat sensor that shuts it down once it starts to build heat so it doesn't burn the motor up. They work beautifully

Didn't plan on getting one of these ratchets, but got the cordless buffer on sale for 70 bucks and wanted extra batteries. Hard to find and are like 40 bucks a piece. This ratchet is on sale for 80 bucks and comes with two batteries and charger. Shoot, I just ordered it. I'll probably use it. Who doesn't need more tools

The best bang for the buck I've seen in electric ratchets are the Makita ratchets. Nice bullet proof trigger assembly and a ratcheting head that is insanely quick and robustly strong. I literally own 2 Mac ratchets and a Milwaukee fuel ratchet. I don't own the Makita but they are very impressive in person compared to all the others I've come across as a mechanic snap on matco Mac Milwaukee stuff like that

I see alot of bad comments here and I'm wondering if people dont know the difference between an impact wrench and a ratchet. You use this tool to break the nut and then use the ratchet to take it off. If you dont wanna do that buy an Impact wrench. Right tools for the right job.

If the rubber was soft it would get oil saturated and fall apart in no time it's actually a very durable hard rubber that will last the life of the tool and I own one and I am a mechanic in an extremely busy shop and it's a fabulous tour. Way more bang for the buck than the Milwaukee fuel and just as durable

I'm ordering one for the sole purpose of bumping loose an o2 sensor with a short o2 impact socket. Not enough space to use a breaker bar or ratchet. I'm sure I'll use it for other things over time.

I bought on Amazon in 02/2021. Today it died on me. I found the vendor on Amazon and looked at the warranty section. It says to refer to amazons warranty. I clicked the link and Amazon said to refer to the vendors warranty. I called Amazon and at least they are letting me return it even thought it’s well out of date but they couldn’t contact the vendor either. Nice that’s its cheap but you definitely get what you pay for…

Bought one about two months ago. Worked one time and stopped. Got hot and gave off burning electric smell. Sent it back for full refund through Amazon. Since then Kimo has sent me two e-mails saying they were sorry for the problems and reminding me that the ratchet was still under warranty for 2 years and wanting me to give them another chance. Nope.

I bought the extended version, it seems the mechanism that turns the ratchet is too short on mine. I can lightly pinch the socket square and it stops the ratchet from spinning. I must’ve gotten a defective one. I ended up getting a kobalt

Some good reviews but when put up against name brands in a review it does not compare well. Testing on free turning bolts is not a real test, it needs to be tested on lock nuts and tight fitting bolts.

I had this wrench for 4 months and only used it 3 times with light use till it broke on me. I could stop the rotation by squeezing it with my hands. I wrote a bad review with a video proof because it was a piece of junk. Then, I wrote customer service and they got back to me pretty quick and sent me a new wrench. Worked well the first time and in just the second use, the same issue happened. After that, the customer service emailed me privately and told me they would offer me a full refund, I just had to change my rating and edit my written review to say, "good customer service" and remove my title that it broke in 4 months. They sent me a full refund and I ended up not changing my review because they are trying to mislead their customers. In conclusion: Do not trust Amazon review!

I don't trust [most] KZitem reviews either. Far too many people not declaring that they're reviewing stuff they got sent for free. Check out Torque Test Channel's test of this ratchet. They pretty much say "Don't buy it" it's so bad: kzitem.info/news/bejne/0Wpr1aGEa5GBmZg But it must be great. All the KZitem reviewers [who got it for free, no doubt] say it's fantastic.
