Big fan of Camp Gagnon, came here via Flagrant. One of my favourite parts of Flagrant is when Mark researches a topic and explains it to the others - so I LOVE this concept for an episode. Also from watching Patreon eps, I love Miles' input so having him to bounce off was a great choice. Probably my favourite ep of Camp Gagnon so far. I could watch a ton more of these.

Apparently, there were a lot of different departments there. SS, sheriff, local PD, and swat. They are all separate entities using different radio channels, and all have different people in command. There were supposed to be officers on that roof. I think there was a lot of confusion on who was on the roof. Is that one of our guys? Is that one of your guys? People have to go up and down chains of commands and then multiple departments all trying to talk to each other. I think it was just mad confusion. Also, I think SS got complacent because they had been doing these rallies every week for years with no serious issues. All of that combined culminated in a massive breach in security

It's common for democrats to register as republicans to hoist up the votes of other candidates to knock out the favoured republican nominee. Happens on both sides of the political spectrum. Hope this helps everyone understand him being a registered republican essentially means nothing but more likely means he was such a die hard anti trumper he was willing to sign up to vote against him in his own party.
