After rewatching this the second time due to the unstoppable force of autism, I would like to thank you Doc, as well as everyone in this great fandom. I really cannot express my love for this franchise which doesn't come from my nostalgia or any media, but what's happening here and now and the amazing people behind as well in the fandom. I adore how You treat every figure as an art piece in itself, which is exactly my relationship with my collection. I sincirely want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the most inspiring person I ever came across, honestly my biggest dream is to meet you in person. Thank you, all creators in this video and everyone who may stumble upon this stupid pack of words that doesn't even express all my feeling written by a 15 year old lad on the verge of tears. The WFC Trilogy will be remembered for ages to come, this line alone has defined mainline for the time being, from the chunk-based transformation style, to the attention to detail, and most of all the way it pulled us out of the flaws of the lines that came before it, I may have only started my journey in the middle of Kingdom, but the stories that I've heard from collectors have helped me to truly understand how WFC impacted a community, as well as a company. And now, people will be able to turn to this video and see everything laid clear, thank you for that, Dr. Lockdown. This trilogy will go down in Transformers history as the turning point of mainline.

The WFC Trilogy was my reintroduction to Transformers collecting. I was a jaded teenager who thought he was too old for silly, plastic playthings, and only watched the movies solely because of all the shooty-shooty-bang-bang action. But something about seeing Sideswipe on a peg during a random stroll down the Wal-Mart action figure isle just...clicked with me. I figured, what the heck, I have a job now, I'm earning my own money, I'm gonna spend it. I took him home, opened him up, started playing with him...and I felt like a little kid again. The transformation blew me away, with how simple yet engaging it was. The posing was so tactile and seamless, every pose I got him in made him look like he was bold and ready for action! I thought, damn! What have I been missing all this time?! Soon after, I got Hound, then Megatron, Starscream, cel-shaded Optimus, Grapple (R.I.P. right peg), Apeface and Snapdragon; the list goes on. And almost every figure I bought sunk me deeper and deeper into Transformers fanhood, as well as collecting as a whole. I got the G1 movie and the complete G1 cartoon series, watched it all start to finish (screw "season" 4), went to comic book stores to scope out toys that were inexplicably absent from mainstream shelves, and soon amassed whole armies of plastic robot soldiers, ranging from G1 Beachcomber all the way up to Legacy Armada Starscream. And it all started with Sideswipe back in 2019. If not for him, I wouldn't be half the Transformers fan I am today. He, along with most of all the WFC trilogy, opened the door to a whole part of the franchise I had never explored before. And I couldn't be a prouder, more thankful fan.

Ok Doc Loc, you have come up with a quite impressive video here. You have imo made the most extensive and thorough run down of an entire 3 year ark, which happens to be the most influencial and revolutionary trilogy since G1 hit the states. Also, the little bit of help you had, doesn't come off as you lightening your load, so much as a series of cameos by other great influincers from fthe whole world. While I was absolutely stunned that the number 1 on this list, is the doner mold for my custom painted Siege Skywarp, I tended to look on the moldmates as one figure, where I determined the highest ranked individual rep of a single mold, was the mold's placement in general, which imo is a great way to look at it. I have some issues with some placement, where I feel that the top 3 all deserve to be the top 3, but not exactly in that order. Cyclonus, is going to hold a special place for me, since, he is the figure I saw at Walmart that made me literally yell "WTF" on the toy aisle, and forget to buy the birthday gift I was there to get for my grandson lol. He started my obsession, and now, however many years later,, 2 or 3, and 250ish figures later, I'm addicted. This has to be one of the BEST transformers videos EVER made! It's up there with the 3 part retrospective, and a few very special others. Kudos to the max doc lock!! And I don't have enough time in my day to shout out all of the voices I heard here, that I consider to be friends of mine, in our joint addiction to plastic.

As a base, I think the Netflix Prime is weaker than the Earthrise. However after adding the black Nemesis trailer and some reprolabels, it makes an absolutely incredible G2 Comic Prime that I 100% believe surpasses the Earthrise. The Earthrise mould (while not as good as Siege Prime) is decent, but I don’t think it works for G1 Optimus at all, especially when so much of the colour has been replaced with dull grey, and the proportions are all wrong. Being a G2 Comic Prime, the jank proportions of the mould actually suit the Netflix version really well. P.S. I also greatly prefer Siege Soundwave to the Netflix. Yes the space barge is weird, but all the Netflix had to do was be a box and it couldn’t even do that without having weird gaps and lumps and kibble and faux forming. It should be the easiest alt mode in all of transformers to do, why was it so compromised?

I Started Full on Collecting since 2019, back when I first saw Starscream and Soundwave on a Walmart Shelf. I ended up picking up Starscream, and it blew me away. I hadn't seen any reviews of the figure, and the last figure I picked up was Studio Series Cogman back in early 2019, so I was holy impressed with the figure. I then picked up Siege Megatron, then Siege Optimus, then Siege Bluestreak, then The Alphastrike Counterforce, and then it just grew and grew from there. Most of my favorite figures ARE from this Trilogy, so I should have to thank this Trilogy for basically bringing me back full force into the Transformers Fandom after dipping during The Last Knight, and started collecting Lego.

My fav WFC2019 figure is Hotlink. it's such a striking mold and combined with that sweet color scheme it just feels premium, and makes me feel better for the fact I didn't get Skywarp when I had the opportunity. The charcoal gray/Games Workshop Gray/Purple combo looks bland next to the jet blacks and intense bluish purples of Hotlink.

Your placing Rhinox at #54 in the excellent section made me feel vindicated. I love my Rhinox. I was so bloody excited to snap him up at a Target while on vacation a couple of years ago. The hate he receives, in my opinion, is undeserved. His beast mode is well-detailed and quite photogenic and his size makes him stand tall next to my Kingdom Primal and Dinobot. I am GLAD I got this Rhinox!

I look back on siege bluestreak really fondly. He’s a good figure and it really helped I got him for five dollars in an actual Walmart not even aftermarket

@DrLockdown Man, I remember sitting down on the couch munching on mini chocolate donuts watching the show before I had to get ready for school in the morning. Not only is it nostalgic enough to remember, but its art style fucks hard. It's distinct.

Where Were You When Siege Dropped? I'd just say... "I saw Tetrajet Starscream in the store one day and decided why not." - Dr. Lockdown based on this video No but seriously I enjoys every single minute of this. But I have to criticize one thing This wasn’t a review THIS WAS A NOSTALGIA TRIP, HOLY SHIT If I somehow still ain't subscribed to you, this video should be that kick in the noggin to do so. By far you are underrated, and I am genuinely invested. This is my childhood in one video and there is no denying the effect it has on me today. Thank you for this collaboration and a happy 8 years on this platform. PS. When are you going to review Iron Factory DJD? I would love your detailed thoughts.
