I worked at a restaurant in Carmel, CA in the early 80s and Clint Eastwood went to our restaurant usually once a week and each time with a different woman. It was a variety of women age wise and type, he just really likes women, all women. He was super nice, great tipper and we always enjoyed having him and his plus one, whomever that was for the night.

Born with the looks that many western men, including myself, admired, and wished we had, Eastwood portrayed the silent yet powerful type of man many of us men wanted to be, yet off screen he was so different from the Homeric Hero stereotype he often portrayed. I was a young cop once, and remember when Dirty Harry came out. It was a huge hit amongst many of us law enforcement types, and in some respects influential as I began to notice those who bore a faint resemblance to him begin to dress and try act like his screen characters, the hair style, his squint, the half smile and slow talk; so stupid now. Always admired him as an actor and an excellent director though, and have seen almost all of his movies, but in the role of husband and father, he wasn't so great. I mourned the loss of Sondra Locke and found her book, 'The Good, the Bad, and the Very Ugly' an interesting but sad read. I'm sorry I never met her for an autographed copy.

@@lorimrasek7611 oh. Honest. I've grown up thinking that a man should have as many women as possible. Where as a woman should not sleep with more than four and be a whole. Stupid. It's been that way for all of my 53 years of life. Now, I don't care as long as my girl and I are true and honest to each other. People with insecurities have issues with this kind of thing.

What was the matter with him? You wouldn't want your own son or father treating women like this, so why is it ok for a Hollywood celebrity to do it? His macho man movies were entertaining, but his persona was the same in every movie, and lacked variety. Why is it ok for a man to carry on in this way, but not women?

Elvis beat his ocassional friend Clint by 13 years in striking it with food critic extraordinaire Gael Greene. Her story about what he told her when she was a repoter, as she was leaving the suite following a torrentuous night at the 24th floor penthouse suite atop what is now Detroit's Westin Hotel, and which took place immediately after a 1957 concert is truly legendary "I was making for the door when he opened his eyes, blinked, as if he wasn't sure for a moment what I was doing there. He twitched a shoulder toward the phone and said ‘Would you mind calling room service and ordering me a fried-egg sandwich?. At that moment, it might have been clear I was born to be a restaurant critic. I just didn’t know it yet..LOL.

Evidently Facts verse has run out of things to discuss so, they go into a man's personal life. Why would anyone be surprised that a tall, good looking man who is amazingly successful has Women falling over each other to get to him? There is no mystery here and obviously the Women didn't mind throwing themselves at Clint. Clint is a Man's Man and he is universally liked. He's had a heck of a life and I've enjoyed his movies over the decades. Good for him.

@@larespuertorico So you think that a person can be awful their whole life and repenting will get them into heaven? Yet someone can be a good person that never accepts Jesus into their life and that will keep them out of heaven. That is why I chose to be an atheist. Religion is very hypocritical. Explain to me a God that will accept a mafia boss into Heaven because he repents for the first time as he bleeds out from a gun shot, but a good person who never accepts Jesus is kept out of heaven even though he dies saving lives. Don't make sense to me!

Instead of his usual 2-3 hour workout four days a week, Clint Eastwood switched to a one-hour-a-day, seven-days-a-week routine. “One day I’ll go in and do an hour of just shoulders arms,” he says. “The next day I’ll do an hour of back and chest. Next day legs. Then depending on my schedule, I’ll run or use the Stair Master or a computerized stationary bike.”
