Thanks to CBS News for bringing back On the Road! Steve Hartman is a very worthy successor to Charles Kuralt.

On the road has for me been one of the highlights of television for many decades. Just an awesome rare part of American television.

When Steve said that they had just one question, I knew what that question going to be, my eyes watered.

What are the responsibilities of foster parents besides raising them? Are they responsible to provide foster children with private tuition to get their grades up, classical music lessons, swimming lessons, etc?

I bet that if Steve came to see me, he wouldn't end up with such a good story. That lady isn't half as boring as I am. And thank goodness for that. It means those kids have great parents :)
