I grew up in philly and my mom hated using food stamps but she would trad cash for double the food stamps then she would send me to the store with them so she wouldn’t be seen using them! YES!!!! I ADORED Tichina Arnold's portrayal of Rochelle (Chris mom) because she reminded me 100% of MY MOM!!!! I SWEAR!!!! When Tichina got the role, she must have asked the casting director; "What should be my approach on how to play this woman?" and I bet they told her: "There's a Hispanic Lady in Hialeah, Florida. Go down there, spend a day with her, study the way she handles her husband and the way she gets in her kid's faces, and THAT'S how you play Rochelle". I swear!

Damn I bought like eight items at Whole Foods the other day and one bag cost me almost $70. That’s the last time I don’t keep my ass going to Publix or Costco
