Great video! I have a B Mat Strong and a Manduka Prolite, both are amazing! The B Mat is insanely grippy and as you said, it had a vibrant color. I agarre with you!

I bought a Jade Harmony a month ago, and with even a hint of sweat, it is very slippery for me after many practices, deep cleans, etc. I have spent several hours reviewing alternatives, and was already leaning toward a B Mat, but your passion and review has convinced me. Thank you!!! Now I just need to decide on a color! :)

I ve just bought the B Mat, as it is supposed to be very grippy. I have a Manduka Eko Superlite and love the grip when I have dry hands but with wet hands or feet it s sooo sliiiippy and it is very bad when you need to focus on the posture instead of being careful to do not fall down. Hope I made a good choice after weeks of researches. I was not sure about this B Mat and the Manduka GRP lite. But I'm courious of seeing how this will work. Thanks for your help and review! Cheers!

It’s a great MaT,,, all this nonsense about cork mats,,, I’ve used them maybe 3 times and was disappointed every time-- mainly NOT enough grip- Bmat is fantastic-- Grip is SOLID and mat feels solid as well.

I was wondering whether the mat is too sticky? Can you move from one pose to another during a flow? I read that it is on the way-too-sticky side and I was wondering what is your experience. How would you compare the stickiness to eg a Manduka Pro?
@TheHolistic.Homemaker

Cotton Candy Pancake great question! I cannot speak for the Manduka- I can only really compare to a Jade/ lululemon . It is pretty sticky, I would say it’s stickier than all of my other mats- but it’s does break in. I’ve had it for a few months now and it isn’t nearly as sticky as in the beginning. I also wouldn’t say that the sticky factor isn’t a bad thing! I think that personally it helped me feel more solid in my poses. It definitely didn’t hinder me flowing from pose to pose. I also think it does really well with sweat and doesn’t get that slippery gross feeling that I honestly do feel with the Jade, I feel like I can never grip as well with my Jade. I hope that helped!!

@@TheHolistic.Homemaker it surely did, thanks a lot! Do you think that with 6mm you have less of a balance with balancing poses than with a 4mm version (of the B mat or of any kind of mat in general). I have bad knees and wrists, I have a cheap tpe 5mm mat now and my knees do feel the discomfort and I was wondering whether I should go with a 4mm and use some pads or for 6mm, but what got me thinking was the fact that I read that 6mm can interfere with balance in specific poses. I am doing Hatha, Yin and Pilates atm, but would like to try Vinyasa (all that on a laminate floor).

Cotton Candy Pancake I feel like the 6mm would be great for you. I have really bad arthritis in my wrists and I have screws in both feet, my husband has a lot of wrist and knee issues- I asked his opinion on his comfort level of my 6mm vs 4mm and he said there is a drastic difference for him. With my 4mm I used a towel for extra cushion. The 6mm I don’t need that extra give. I feel like for Yin it is perfect because you’re holding for so long. And if you’re wanting to transition to vinyasa- I have no problem flowing from pose to pose. I feel like if your options are a 4mm with a cushion or just get a 6mm. I feel like you’ll be happy with a 6! 💜✨

5 days hanging it out, and it still stinks of chemicals. It is so bad that my immune system got run down, I hated doing down dog or baby pose, I just could not take the chemicals. The mat is great in every other way but, I am into 3 weeks with it now and can’t get this smell out off my nostrils. I have been using a neddi pod , sprays, anything I can find, it is like a glue stuck inside my nose.

@@TheHolistic.Homemaker I meant no disrespect but I gave my totally honest opinion. I had ordered a blue they sent a ocean green 6mm 185 inch. I have had the flue for the last three days and I can still smell the chemical odour. I love love the mat , it’s just the chemicals. I am going to fill my bath tub today soak it for and hour or so, see if that works., thanks for replying, Brian.
