Fun fact: in German "naschen" (pronounced sth like "nushn") means to eat as well, but specifically for small amounts, especially of sweets. You can "naschen" from savoury food as well but most often it means nibbling chocolate, gummy bears etc.

I guess she knows how to talk to the queen. If I tell the queen there is this wonderful person called Lucy and I advice to find an order to give her. The word noshing is derived from the Yiddish language. There you have "nosh" or "nash". Depending on how you transcribe it. It means having a snack, nothing big. In German it becomes even clearer. Nash would be naschen ...

Hi Lucy. As with the rest of your clips, this is a gem clip for vocab. It would be great if you could upload your clips with the volume up. Despite using maximum volume on both laptop and KZitem, the volume is low and it is difficult to focus on your pronunciation.
