A very intuitive EDC loadout there. I especially like the water key to enable you to get water. In my EDC I carry a single stick of hot glue and a lighter. Just melt the glue stick with the lighter and you can fix the nylon and canvas that backpacks and edc bags are made of. Even fix tents in the rain. I.m sur many other things also. 60 seconds to cool and its set and ready for a pressure load. Instant fix. Great vid thanks for posting.

+Bert FDZ : Hello! I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to watch this video. I agree that modularization can get expensive. It's definitely something that can take time to work into. Our EDC bags (or any gear) are a work in progress that continue to evolve. Purchasing, updating, downgrading, adding, swapping, and so forth takes time. LOL. A little here and a little there and it all comes together. As the Lord provides the funds, we can enjoy the adding new modules. Also, I started out using 1-gallon freezer bags for modules. I still do multiple size baggies in different kits. If you ever want to discuss this more, please let me know. Again, thank you for watching! - Jeremy

Hey, good day. First, thank you for taking the time to watch this video and to take the time to comment. I really appreciate that. Second, I do have fixed blades in all of my gear bags except this EDC bag. I'm not sure if I will add one or not. I fully agree with you that a fixed blade is an amazing tool and in many situations better than a folder. Maybe one day, I will add one to this bag, but I have mixed feelings on it based on where this bag goes with me. Thank you for asking me about that. Please stop by anytime. - Learningtobeprepared

I've been watching your videos and you have a lot of great gear ideas. A plastic dental floss box full of floss makes a great string dispenser for tying just about anything including broken shoe laces. I just fixed a tare in the nylon inside a pouch of my EDC where sewing it would have been difficult at best. Also i fixed the sole of my shoe that had pulled away from the toe. If the shoulder strap tares or breaks, the soft hot glue can be pressed into the fibers for a quick mend. Broken plastic glasses frames instantly mended also. maybe even gluing the bottoms of two Altoids tins together for a two section tin with a ranger band around might be cool. Much more im sure.

Thank you for stopping by! I have a couple of the maxpedition pouches and I do like them. Just as some background information. The owner of Vanquest was the original founder of Maxpedition. I recommend both depending on what you personally enjoy more. Thank you so much for stopping by and giving me your recommendation. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

HAHA the juice c2 and skeletool are my top 2 more edc'd multi tools! absolute favorites. either one will be in my pocket and i have a wingman in my backpack. you've got some nice stuff man! im a flashlight guy too. lol i usually have 2-3 on me minimum and 2 more in my backpack. the hands free headlamp ability is great. i carry emergency cash too, but its usually around 50 bucks. id carry more but i end up spending it haha. i NEED to carry some coins but the vending machine at work always get me. i want that water tool! i went to lowe's and couldn't find them. anker makes really good products. i only buy their portable and wall chargers. i had a 13,000 mah astro, then the 10,000 mah astro e3, sold both and now upgraded to the powercore 20,000. great setup you have. ive got one maxpedition micro but i like how you have all your stuff separated with those vanquest pouches. im going to try to invest in some of those.

Hi Cindy. Thank you for watching. I appreciate your tip on the water. The reason I don't have water in this bag is because it's my EDC bag. I don't use this bag for emergencies. I do have water in my get home bags and my bug out bag. When I have this bag with me, I'm just using it throughout the day and I have my water bottles with me, but I don't attach the bottles to my bag. I keep them in my cooler that I take with me each day. Excellent tip and I appreciate your comment. I have been considering just adding a couple of packs of emergency mylar packs of water just incase this bag were to ever be all that I have. Please stop by anytime, Cindy. - LearningToBePrepared

I don't know if i like it or don't. I like organized items but this is ... so nerdy. And this is not EDC. At least not for me. EDC items is items what i need every day (mobile, wallet, keys) ... + some useful little items (flashlight, pocket knife, matches, sunglasses, pills and pen). That's all. I personally do not want to carry so many crap every day like you. Moreover when you drive by car in the city. This is not "prepper" ... this is OCD and paranoia in one. If you use every single item (or at least 60%) every day thats ok. If not ... why bother? But it depends on many factors. I don't know you. I just comment on the video with my own experience. This is my humble opinion. Have a nice day.

Hey, first of all, thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate your time. Second, thanks for taking time to comment. We definitely seem to have some different opinions on EDC, based on my video and your comment. I appreciate that your edc needs maybe different than mine and that’s great, because we all need to fit our needs and not everyone else’s. So, as a small explanation of this video, my contents (as well as the pack itself) is a living setup. Meaning, I’m constantly changing it to try and make it better for my needs/wants. I have not watched this video in a while, so it’s likely my current setup is different than what’s in this video. With that said, please understand that my pack also included a things that I use daily, may use daily, along with items that I carry with me for enjoyment. The only thing that you can see in this video is my EDC bag, so my whole preparedness setup, plans, needs, or life challenges are not available for you to see or understand, and I understand that 👍. Thanks again for watching.

@@learningtobeprepared4866 I know it is older video. I just found it in my recommended list. So i watched it :-) I also have carry similary (but smaller) EDC setup long time ago. Based on similary yt videos. I recognised it's just too much weight on my shoulders for every day carry. So i reduced it on minimum. Other items i have in my backpack on hiking or traveling ... and its also constantly changing. Sure, i understand that. I commentary only what i see on video ... nothing else. We all have different priorities and i respect that. Thank you for you reaction. You're cool. I wish you only the best.

Hello Jay. First, I wanted to say thank you for watching. It's always hard to explain everything about the bag in the video, but I wanted to share a couple of things to help explain your points. I do have extra flashlights in my bag because they are my hobby and I purchase a lot of lights to mess around with. So, I like to keep some in my bag to rotate through. As for the water, I don't want water in this setup. This is for a couple of reasons. This bag is not an emergency bag. I have additional bags that stay in my car and in my home that contain water. The other reason, is that each day, I also carry a cooler that has additional water in it. So, I have water in my trunk and water in my cooler. So, just wanted to share that bit of information. It may help or it may not. LOL Thanks again for watching. I really appreciate your time to comment as well.
