It’s so cool to find another woman EDCer out here! I am considering one of these packs for my “essentials kit” for my pack. I’m really thinking I could use two of these which is cool since they are on sale right now. I really think this would be a great idea for me. Thanks for your video!

Great Video and nice EDC bag. No, I think you are good to go with that bag. You have all the basics you'll need to have on you plus the items you would need for the environment/area you live in. As long as you have the basics your good to go. As for me I live in a urban/city area and I carry a bit more tools and gadgets for my phone and laptop or tablet, but I do carry the basic items just like what you have.

Awesome, thank you! Yeah, I don’t need much for my tech devices when I’m away from home. But I could definitely see how those are key items for other people.

Great to see another female finally into EDC's! I have a CAP also as one of mine and love it. If you weren't aware, that mini charging cable probably has a micro USB connection also integrated within the lightening connector. If you see a slit in the tip of it that's for a micro. 👍🏾

Thanks for reminding me that not all EDC scenarios necessarily involve disasters - sometimes candles on a birthday cake need lighting 🙂 Loving your content (and the view behind you) good luck with the channel 🙂 Greetings from London 🙂

Most of my edc gear is for things I will normally encounter. I do have a lot more disaster gear in my car and house for just in case, might need to do vids on those. Glad you enjoy the content!!! Hope you keep watching!

Great review 👏 Any small edc fixed blade knives Like the CRKT Minimalist,in your collection? They are super little knives and easy to conceal in edc pouches?

I do have several small fixed blades including the Minimalist. I’ll do an upcoming video on those! Great idea!!! Thanks!!!

@@EDCQ conceal ability of knives is quite important to me. So it makes it even easier to edc your edged tools. The reason i carry multiple knives is because each has a different blade style.. By that meaning, a Tanto blade,a drop point blade,sheepsfoot blade and pen knife with the Victorinox Farmer X. So each serves a different purpose. I do however not have any serrated blades anymore hence sharpening them really sucks.. The Victorinox Farmer X has a saw which to me acts like a serrated blade anyway.

@@chriscoetzee6484 so very true! Different blade shapes do different things. I agree about a saw over serrated but I do have some serrated blades, pain in the but to sharpen!

Nice kit you put together, it's well thought out. I use a Maxpedition Mongo Versipack for my car EDC bag and its pretty awesome. I want to make a smaller EDC like yours that is easier to carry. Maxpedition CAP seems great! I like that layout.
@EDCQ

Thank you! The CAP works very well as I’m something you can easily grab something out of while you’re on the go. Everything stays in place and is well organized. I’ve never used a Mongo, but I’ve seen them and have a similar bag, they are great and built like tanks. Just a little bigger then I want to carry on the regular.

@@EDCQ Yeah the Mongo is on the heavy side for EDC but it's the closest I could find to a quality messenger bag with the size and look I wanted with many extra pockets. For example I have extra socks and simple leather work gloves inside the main compartment open/close flap. I mean inside the flap itself not inside the main compartment to be clear! Cool they thought to make even the flap a storage area. I've got tools, flashlights, cook pot/fire kit, some food to get through a day, water purification, medical, packable rain jacket, hygiene and cleaning, solar charger, cables etc... I guess it could be classed as a get home bag. Certainly its the most comfortable side bag I've owned with all the padding and waist strap for walking lots of distance with it full. I don't always take it but any trips out of my home town I always have it in the car with me. After looking more at options I think the CAP is just the right bag for a smaller kit!

@@practicalguy973 sounds like an excellent set up for a car/get home bag. Great bag for that and great way to store gear you may need randomly when out and about.

Compact, pragmatic kit. I like it! I have a very similar admin pouch made by 5.11 which fits inside a pack. I used to have it attached inside the pack, but I found myself removing the pouch and just taking that along by itself. I carry a little more medical stuff like an Israeli compression bandage but it’s always the simple things like hand wipes and band-aids I need day to day. (Thankfully.)

Thank you! Yeah, always important to have the intense stuff, but thankful it’s rarely if ever needed.
