It wasn’t “attacking a patient”. But they need to thank him profusely anyway, since apparently, he was risking his job doing the right thing. Is there a crossover between Grey's and Station 19?
@jonathanparker6209
Жыл бұрын
@Leah Unfortunately, very frequently. I myself finally caught up in Station 19, and it's a good show, but the two are WAY too intertwined. For example, neither Ben nor Bailey's marriage will make sense if you don't watch one of the shows. It took me a while to realize Carina didn't disappear from Greys, but was actually moved over to Station 19 as a regular (even though she works full time at Grey-Sloan 🤨) Outside of that, pivotal storylines in both shows will be resolved in "crossover" specials, leaving you like "what the heck."" You think you missed an episode when it actually just plays on a show you might not watch. Two more examples. An episode of Greys just pops off with DeLuca DYING. I didn't even mourn his character that day because I was so dumbfounded by what happened. This is because I hadn't gotten that far in Station 19, I had no clue that he tracked down the trafficker (His MAJOR storyline for the year) and got shot. Then there's Ripley's final full day alive, and all the major revelations happened in Greys. Once again, I enjoy 19, but they arguably rely on each other too much by forcing newcomers to the franchise watch a nearly 20 year old show, or force veteran Greys watchers to invest time into a new project they didn't plan on watching just to make sense of certain plots.

Its such a tricky subject for me. I concluded that its worse to have a child be born and suffer in this world. However I do not think irresponsible men and women should be having annual abortions. I dont think a young girl or an abused woman or a poverty stricken woman should be made to carry and birth a girl she does not want or is unable to care for. I had to conclude that the life to be lived is more inportant than the conception. Not all of them are adopted into loving homes and the irony is...the pro lifers aren't adopting or doing anything to help living kids already suffering.
@Myrathosghost
9 ай бұрын
Not only are they not helping but if you actually look into at least in America, some of the more wealthier pro-lifers, especially men tend to have mistresses who they have paid for their abortions because they don’t want their mistresses to have their kids because they already have a family and the mistress is just there for sex And to give money to, and to make the man feel good about himself. She is not there to birth his children, so he is fine with her getting an abortion as long as nobody finds out about it….. because the second somebody finds out about it is the second everything that he has said, and worked towards especially a politician to get all of the pro lifers on his side… falls apart I will say there are probably also some very wealthy women who have gotten abortions themselves because they don’t want to have kids at that time or because they don’t want to have kids with their husband because they only married their husband for money or because they have a lover and it’s not their husband’s child and they don’t want their husband to find out whatever it is there are very rich people who are pro-life who get abortions because they think they should be above every rule and law that the people below them should have to follow

I don’t understand why the people who are believers of Jesus aren’t acting that way with Bailey. As Christians we can disagree with certain things Ex I’ve had an abortion and I know the pain it caused me and others but in order to help people understand that we can’t lash out on people. The reason some Christians are against abortion is because they want to save those childrens’ lives that don’t get a say or voice. It comes from a place of loving human life but that means we need to also love the people who are for abortion. Yes explain and even share your story on why your passionate about it but don’t resort to hate bc well… than we’ve missed the point. The point is to love human beings…. yes even if you disagree with them. That’s being like Jesus.

And another thing. Her being stalked is a horrible thing to have to deal with. So to me this a big deal bc if I do watch the show, it is to watch Bailey and the actress who portrays her. Her character has OCD and I loved how they betrayed it before bc I have OCD, a different kind but I loved the representation. Abortion is a hot topic but here is the thing. You have 3 choices if you get pregnant (planned pregnancy, rape victim, etc) but it’s your choice and no one else’s. You could give up for adoption. You can have the baby of course. Or you can have an abortion. I’m sorry to be rude but that is why I disagree with pro-lifers. Take a look at the bigger picture
@AaronNickolas7
Жыл бұрын
There is no such thing as “pro-life”. There is pro-choice and pro-force/control. Because pro-lifers don’t care about the “life”, they care about forcing women to responsibly for her actions. It’s like getting pregnant is her punishment for having sex. Do they care about the man’s responsibility? Or about who cares for the woman and child AFTER? They never do. Nope, it’s all about giving a fetus rights that they literally legally don’t even have. Even in emergency situations doctors ALWAYS put the mother’s life ahead of the fetus. Even if the mother begs them to save the fetus at any cost, when it comes down to it, the mother’s life ALWAYS comes first.

You do know the government is involved right? Women’s rights and privacy are being invaded and I am too tired to look up the abortion law that asshole governor DeSantis made sure went through but you can be arrested for an abortion, miscarriage, etc. I bet that my hysterectomy counts. What makes me sad about Grey’s is they are showing one side of this issue. People who are against abortions are seen as villains but they don’t show the victims of those who suffered bc they chose to get an abortion bc that’s what society told them to do and the psychological trauma that ensued afterwards of doing something you can’t take back. I wish as much effort was put in adoption and services that helped mothers as the effort to abort a child. I used to love this show bc it showed a variety of views and social issues and wasn’t bias but now it’s become a one sided propaganda for abortion that I and other friends (who don’t hold the same view of abortion as I do even) are just tired of.

I’m fine when they speak about important issues up to date so it looks like the shows is around our time too but there’s a point where it’s just too much and too annoying like how gossip girl reboot they just kept focusing on those issues and it drew viewers away. I don’t mind if they do it once in awhile but to do it every season I’m like what is next you know?

Let me tell you a little secret-you can't take back having a child either. So many women have children because the society tells them they must, that it's in their nature to become mothers, that otherwise they would not fulfill their full potential. Many of them regret it after and are shamed and bullied for speaking up and can never change it. No one should be forced to carry a pregnancy and have a child if they don't want to. There are way too many children in the foster system already that are alone, and you want to crowd it with more? If you care about children so much, foster and adopt some of them, volunteer with them, raise money for organizations that support them. DON'T force women to go through a pregnancy.

@@noashom you're missing the point what were saying is how the writers constantly pushing these issues race, abortion etc, and yet villainzie people who do either want it or don't agree with it. you can't change people minds they have to do it themselves if that what they want. and it's clear you are also biased. it be nice for a change if they have persepective from different sides even if they might get blacklash for it that would make it seem so much more realistic like how callie punched a homophobic instead of having every doctor agreeing with what is right and what is wrong. yeah it may be tough to have those talks but that what people do to be able to change you can expect them to change if you're contanstly attacking them for being in the wrong.

Adoption is already a multi-million dollar industry and in many places around the world, preys on vulnerable people who want to raise their babies but have no financial support. Abortions are medical procedures and just because one person MIGHT regret theirs doesn’t mean other people should be denied access when they need it. They are not casting all people against abortions as villains. They are calling out the ones who violently harass doctors who are doing their jobs. That’s who the calls are for, the people who frequently called Dr. Bailey and harassed her at her home and work.

@@jyslog no one is being attacked in this clip and the commenter is pointing out the reality of forced pregnancy in this country. We can’t have conversations about these topics when people are more focused on being nice than being truthful. Can you be nice and truthful, sure. But if simply stating facts, as the commenter did, is automatically read as mean, what kind of conversations can be had?

ER IS WAY BETTER!!! it doesn't discriminate any race and make one look worst or better than others. It's very realistic and not some dump unrealistic drama like grey's anatomy.

How does Grey's discriminate against race? Genuinely asking. I might be to privileged to notice.
