You dont need to be a geek to know how to make money lol you need to have intuitiveness, to be endeavours, enthusiastic, ambitious. You dont get these traits from just being a geek. Unfortunately I was outcasted like this as a kid, the damage is irreparable, never had a safe home life or a school life, finally graduated in 2018 and life has been a struggle since, I finally wasn’t an outcast and was lowkey kinda popular last 2 years of school but it doesn’t mean shit bc idk how to make real friends, I struggle to maintain relationships and read peoples facial expressions and body language, it has made me intensely self critical so everyone who knows me thinks I’m just good at a lot of different things bc I’ve taught myself that there’s no room for error, bc I feel so unbelievably low every time I do anything wrong. It’s hard but I’m trying to will myself into therapy but it’s hard to want to make myself vulnerable like that after being hurt deeply for having opened up like that many times in the past. So Please, just be nice to people, it doesn’t take much effort at all and it’s always better to be kind bc being mean will definitely get you places you don’t want to go in life.

I once saw a new arab kid from Yemen, and he was introduced to class in our school. There was this girl who sits at back of class, everyone avoided her, judged her, made fun of her. This Yemeni kid could had choices to sit wherever, but instead he sat next to her. Even she was surprised. I asked her what she said to him years later. She became a librarian. She said.. "I told him, everyone won't like him if he sits next to me," but he replied, "it's ok. I don't want to be friends with people like that anyway." He sat in cafe with her after what she told him, walked with her, shared his sandwhiches with him and even stood up for her. He changed her life man just by kindness. Yemenis. First time I ever met one and no wonder they are standing up for Palestinians.

I was one of the outcastss in high school. I wasn't weird. But I was a loner. I was a nerd. I was a geek. But i was very smart. During recess and lunch I was always somewhere in a corner either reading a book or on my laptop. I was building a software program. One of the popular "cool" football player guy was always nice to me. His name was JP. He always dab me and always say wassup in a real and genuine way. I think at the time he just felt bad for me, but i also think he was very genuine. Then senior year, a large silicon valley company took interest in my software. I sold it for $1 mil. The word got around and then everyone wanted to be my friend.... But i know it wasn't genuine. The only guy I befriended was JP because he was always kind to me. Until this day, we are still very good friends.

Oh my god, my heart just broke watching the way everyone look at that kid. It must've been painful living your childhood like that. Everyone avoiding you like you have a disease. I can't even imagine how it would feel. I'm so glad i grew up somewhere where the kids weren't cruel like this. I want to hug every single one of you who are actually living this right now. I hope it gets better.

That's not how it works! Popular people have power. If more popular people befriended the kids people reject, they wouldn't be so rejected. Make a friend with the one who has none.

I loved this movie!!! It’s called “October sky” it’s basically about a group of buddies building homemade rockets to hopefully get scholarships to move out of the old mining town they’re stuck living in, it’s a very interesting movie with a lot of deep understanding behind it, definitely recommend watching!!! It’s based on a book that was based on a true story, HOMER HICKAM IS A BADASS!!!!

When I was a kid I wasn’t a “nerd” but was short and skinny, so I always sat alone bc nobody liked me bc of it. Puberty hit, I was tall and beefy, made the football team, suddenly people wanted to be my friend, I still chose to sit alone. People can call it “mentally scarred” but I call it not letting people switch up on me. Didn’t like me before, don’t try liking me now bc now, I don’t like you.

What makes this guy weird is not that he’s smart, but just that he acts different socially Due to being smarter (thinking differently is all it really is) he’s bound to talk facts which most people don’t know

Never let yourself judge another person without caring to know them first. And never act based on others thoughts and opinions. Do stuff for you and be nice to other people. If everyone followed that the world would ve a much nicer place
