I've got a camp chair, a spare pair of sandals that I never took out last fall. A blanket, spare bag. There might be jumper cables in the side compartment. Mine are different though (3rd Gen) My husband has so much stuff in his FJ, we can't fit the grocery bins in anymore. The most off road he does is my mother's driveway in Bancroft LOL.

Every time I see an EDC video it makes me want to go out to my truck and go through everything. I love your minimalist/ purposeful setup, I'll admit I am one of those end of the world prepper guys and for sure have a couple flashlights in my rig lol. Definitely going to move some stuff to the garage. Good video tho

Just an FYI, the cargo covers are required to be sold with the vehicle by law in Canada. It's a "safety" thing. I had a 2nd gen and wanted the cover. It was only available in Canada, not even offered in the states. An ABA installation would be nice!

I keep about 60 pounds of SHTF stuff under the cargo shelf in my gray man stealth SHTFmobile 4Runner - large and smaller strap similar to yours in the video, shackles, an 8 ton hydraulic jack in addition to the very nice stock 4Runner jack, tools, tire plug kit, small air compressor, a Tyvek suit, a couple of nice new never used traction boards, LED headlamp, jumper cables AND lithium battery jump box, first aid kit, a water filter and survival rations, a ham radio, etc. There's room behind the SHTF stuff under the cargo shelf for several bags of groceries next to the rear door, and I could carry stuff on top of the cargo shelf (mine is rigid instead of your roll out tarp), but most of my cargo space is occupied with the stuff I'd only use in the zombie apocalypse. If I had a secure place to store it, I'd have a rifle in there as well. Your Toyota cargo liner fits much better and looks much better than the expensive but thin and kinda cheap WeatherTech cargo liner I have. Buyer's remorse on that, and the WeatherTech floor mats as well.

Everything in there right now is OEM with the exception of the two tens and the amp that takes up about half the trunk. But I literally just bought it. I need to resolve an EVAP P-code as well as replace my bank 2 sensor 2 O2 sensor, so I’m behind the curve as far as that is considered. Also this is more my hauler and winter ride as our roads are salted making rust a major deal. Don’t want to ruin my show car/DD (17 Impreza).

Just bought a 12 v air compressor from 4wp Burlington, smittybilt product. It's heavy duty, will do a 35 in a minute. Everyday stuff definitely have a tool box, and jumpers, battery boosters don't like cold weather. Full sized spare is most important on lifted runner.

@@CanadianGearhead Awesome. What type is it? I'm in Canada too and I recently bought a 2007 Lexus RX350 and I'm thinking to put a Compustar T10 2-way system. I found a certified technician on kijiji and he will install it for $500 all in including an alarm system. Other shops are quoting me $850 for the same remote and setup. I'm still hesitant because I dont want to spend too much money on an old car. Do you think I should buy a fancy remote for this car? I've had remote starts on my other cars and I loved them but they always came with the cars, so now I'm a bit shocked to see how much they actually cost lol.
