I remember the 60s & 70s, I was born in 1961. Best times for kids to have grown up in. And 50s was another great era. The music was much better back then. People were much kinder as well. If only I could go back in time and do it all over again =) .

I remember that you could save money buying a house with an unfinished basement. Our first house when I was a kid had just a cement floor and studs framing the walls. My dad finished it off little by little.😊

I was in grade school during the 70s. It was a great decade to be a kid. Saturday morning cartoons were the rage. Tons of great movies, TV shows and toys. I was 10 when "Star Wars : A New Hope" was released. It was awesome! Christmas was never the same when Star Wars action figures and other toys and games were released. I still have my original action figures. As for sports, the 1976 Olymics was a big deal. And as a New York Yankees fan, Reggie Jackson became a sports icon, Mr. October. His performance in Game 6 is still the greatest single game offensive performance in World Series history. 3 at bats, 3 swings of the bat on the first pitch from 3 different pitchers. Reggie! Reggie! Reggie! He even had his own Reggie Bar.

What a lot of fond memories! I was in high school & college in the 70s and at the time going to a lot of very affordable concerts was the thing to do.

I graduated from high school in 1971. I was right in the thick of all the fashion and culture. Everyone had to have a suntan in those days, and all the girls competed to see who got the darkest. It was a lot more fun being in my twenties in the 70s than being in my seventies in the 20s!! 🤣😆😂
