Really liked Zach's comment about hiding people from the channel. I get tired of trolls showing up for no other reason than to just cause drama. Zach or Jonas, what are your thoughts on the Asics Omnicourt sole. I mainly play hardcourt and artificial turf/sand. Could it be used for both surfaces? Enjoyed the conversation about technological advancements in shoes. I was a Sourcing Director for a US sports apparel and hard goods company and I was based in China for over 16 years. I remember when Flyknit came out. It was a pretty new thing with sneakers. Factories that were used to knitting socks started doing shoe uppers. Shoe factories in the Fujian and Guangdong, started working with knitting factories in Zhejiang and Jiangsu. Was amazing to see what the Nike design/production teams could come up with and how they worked with the factories to make it happen. Loved what you guys said about playing with your fathers. I play with my Dad around 3 days a week. He will be 75 this year and he moves much better on artificial grass than on hardcourts. Though after having both knees replaced, he does ok on hard too. Thanks for the discussion guys. Jonas, really enjoying all these podcasts with other content creators that I follow.

No one wants an update to their favorite shoe, and it makes no real sense to update them b/c shoes wear out so ppl *need* to replace them. Racquets do not really wear out, so the only way to sell them is to make updated versions. Now with all the content creators, it’s a lot of updates / changes for churning content.

I watch Tennisnerd's review first before deciding on a racket. I watch FDZ's review first before deciding on a tennis shoe. Thanks for the great content from both channels.

Zach has really helped me. I was suffering from a lot of tennis injury before watching his recommendation videos. Also he somehow makes shoe tech interesting. Just a very engaging speaker with useful insight. Definitely give his channel a look if you're curious about shoes or have some leg or foot pain.

Honestly, I have wide feet and I followed Zach's advise on that. None of the shoes he recommended for wide feet fit me. Instead I now have the Babolat Jet Mach 3 Wide and I'm happy with them. I tried over 10 shoes (many of which were Zach's recommendations) before finally finding a shoe that fits.

Jonas, if you are looking for custom orthotics I got a doc in Barcelona that does insoles for a local famous football team. She's been doing mine for quite some time. Used to have a bad case of fasciitis and achilles years ago from playing with the vapor 9s and all sort of other foot, back and posture problems. All gone now. I recommend her to many friends and they are all happy although getting used to custom orthotics is hard at the beginning.

I’m sorry my comment hurt your feelings so bad about that last video being tasteless. And ft dr Zach Calling me an idiot in response tells me everything I need to know about him. Insecure to the max. But it was a tasteless video as several hours and one day beforehand both Iga and Novak won a grand slam. In fact Novak broke the grand slam record. A massive achievement in all of tennis history. And for you to release such a huge video without any mention of recognition just seemed tasteless. As a champion of our sport I was hoping you’d at least tip your hat to the achievement if not even to the man. I get it your videos are worked on long before they’re released but even a quick blurb posted to your channel mentioning it would have been better than just completely ignoring it. We only have so many people advocating for this dying sport and for you to not acknowledge him due to your Federer and Nadal preferences just seemed tasteless. Edit: as always love your content and appreciate all you do as I try to mention on every video I watch.
