Jeremy another thing people need to understand before buying a Timeshare is how the Interval Weeks Calendar works. How there are 52 Weeks and in Leap Year there are 53 Weeks. Also how there are Friday to Friday Weeks, Saturday to Saturday Weeks, Sunday to Sunday Weeks. Also that the Interval Weeks Calendar repeats every 7 years due to Leap Year every 4 years.

I see your timeshare is through Marriott. How do you feel about Wyndham ? I recently bought in to theirs. Do you have a video on the various diff companies comparing them ?

We do own through Marriott and outside of staying at a few Wyndham properties, I don't know a lot about their system. That said, I do know that purchasing Club Wyndham resale is a far better option. You will get the same points that will work in the same way (with a few restrictions) but they will cost 10% of the amount Wyndham charges directly. If you are still in the rescission period, definitely do that and look into resale. I don't really have a video comparing the different systems. I also suggest checking out the Club Wyndham owner forum over on TUG; tugbbs.com/forums/forums/club-wyndham-plus.47/

@@DestinationTimeshare thank you !! What do you mean by rescission period ? So meaning I should I have bought from someone selling theirs verses starting up on my own?

@@sararoper7983 The rescission period is the period of time after buying direct from the developer that you can legally cancel your contract. In Florida this is 10 days. So if you bought in Florida less than 10 days ago, you can just cancel the contract, no questions asked. I always recommend this if you are still in that legal timeframe to cancel.

Just bought Hilton Club timeshare for 24.5k without having any info about the yearly and other costs. I won’t go to Newyork anymore since I had been there more than 5 times. Do you think it’s premature decision and can you help me on this?

You need to watch this video. There is no need to spend 24.5K if it was direct from Hilton. Resale is much cheaper with so few drawbacks kzitem.info/news/bejne/w4N-1Imrin9zhGU

Great video, a few questions: does Mariott Vacation Club allow owners to alternate between Mariott VC properties or are owners tied to one specific property? Also, can Mariott VC owners rent out their assigned/floating week? Does Mariott charge a monthly/yearly dues/fees? Thanks

There are two primary products with Marriott Vacation Club, weeks and points. If you purchase a Marriott timeshare week, it is tied to the property you purchase it for. To use it at other resorts, you need to exchange through Interval International exchange company. For Marriott Vacation Club Points, those are not tied to a specific property. Marriott timeshare owners can rent out their timeshare weeks. Usually by making a specific reservation and listing it for rent on sites such as Redweek or KOALA. There are annual maintenance fees to cover the resort operations for the timeshare owned. These range from about $1,500-$2500 per week depending on the resort and unit size.

@@DestinationTimeshare Thanks, thought Marriott's fees where way less than DVC/Disney which is $3,600 annually.

@@emailuser8668 DVC fees are on a per point basis where the maintenance fee amount I gave is based on a week. When you look at the cost of a certain size unit in DVC and the points it take and compare it to a comparable Marriott, DVC probably comes out a little cheaper.
