Another question. Why do most schools require teachers to make lesson plans? I'd think that these schools would have collected and saved all the good lesson plans over the past several years to be reused by future teachers. Where I'm at in South Korea the books and materials are provided. And if there's any time remaining at the end of the hour we can just do pretty much whatever we want. Like reading a storybook, writing sentences and paragraphs, some dialogue, etc.

Geneal Vietnamese business does not think long term like this. What tends to happen are schools will require westerns to write these and they save them. But the demand is overly to high that teachers get annoyed and the schools stop but also lose those lesson plans. I've also seen schools just hire a bunch of none english speaking Vietnamese and businesses to write them for the schools that have no understanding of English culture in the west and they turn out to be a clown show of mistakes.. I was talking to a friend last week about this as he says his school writes all the lessons for teachers, which is cool. The thing is though most of it are no value games randomlyl like duck duck goose or something, random pet tiktok videos, vocabulary that makes no sense to the lesson. Crazy out of control grammar or miss naming objects, and HER personal favorite they had a hygene clas were she was required to brush the teeth of 17 students per the lesson plan so they can learn a western life style. Personally didn't think hygene was a western only thing but when you see most Vietnamese have yellow or no teeth by the age of 28 it makes sense.. Ether way, a lot of schools are starting to but its like you expect from China or Vietnam, half azzed results and no accountability. My final years of teaching i had a system on how i did classes regardless if it was new or a current class. I wrote a book on it in my eBooks you can check below, your better off this route of having a collection of your own over using theirs if possible. I konw MANY Phlipino teachers that just write really good lessons label them, store them, and recall them as they need them. Because here in Vietnam we repeat the SAME 60 lessons every semester for 12 years and some how say 'We are improving...."

Love using Grab, yes that is needed. Easy to use, great for lazy days when food delivery is desired. Also, cheap…very cheap. Da Nang is an awesome, chilled area. If one needs a gentle introduction to VN, Da Nang is a great start. Good tattoo shops too. Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge…hahaha, yes it is touristy but the ride up is worth it. How I became a localized rockstar, be it temporary, was to state ‘Tôi cần thời gian, nhưng tôi sẽ nấu món Việt ngon hơn bất kỳ người phụ nữ Việt Nam nào bạn biết.’ I love to cook, acquired some Vietnamese recipes, and made some good meals to share. Two for one, practiced Tiếng Việt and created an opportunity to meet people…just be prepared for a few chuckles and/or initial death stares(white dude challenging nấu ăn của phụ nữ việt nam…right). The point is, agreed that one should do their best to learn a limited vocab and don’t be scared trying to communicate, people will appreciate the effort. Culture shock…hahaha. The reverse culture shock is the hardest. Good vid, dude. Makes one want to grab the passport and go. Cheers. 😊

Packages got stolen happened at airports, they will rummages through all your belongings to find valuable/stealable items. But don't worry about stuffs shippping from overseas through border checkpoints.

Because not everything in life are flowers and cherries. Why ain't you? Being honest and battling back towards bad things isn't negative. Negative is crying about a job sucking but working there for 25+ years. Maybe i confused on what Negative means. Was there something i was wrong about in the video? Im happy to retract anything i was wrong about. i only trying to give others information to help them along the way
