Thanks for sharing your wisdom. I have just built out a mobile van and I went down the Eco route. I have an electric ford transit that also powers all the equipment through a built in inverter. It has 68kw of battery so I can last a couple of days before I need to charge the van. My water heater is a insulated boat 30 liter (8 gallons) tank and it heats in 20 mins but only needs 750watts for the heating element, so when working I consume very little energy. This system needs virtually no down time for servicing or maintenance, it is however a significant investment and adds upfront costs for the van

I purchased my second Wagntails van in May 2024, and I'm quite disappointed with the quality, especially considering the higher price. I previously owned a 2020 Wagntails, and the build quality was much better. This new van already has cracks in the ceiling, and the rear shelf is bowed and warped. The material they're using, likely a thinner whiteboard compared to the 2020 model, seems to be the issue. I'm hesitant to buy another Wagntails and will be considering the new Hanveys instead.
