Newbie pruner here. I just feel like it would’ve been great to show the secateurs sideways when he was telling us which part to put closest to the tree so we could see the parts he was pointing to. Holding it on straight to the camera the way he did didn’t let us see what part he was pointing to. Still I learned a lot. Thank you.

Hold the blade nearer the tree - if you place the anvil by the tree it can crush a bit. Hope your garden is going well! :)
