Really nice to hear my issue with cyberpunk not saving settings was not just me. Was benchmarking my 4gb Rx 5500 Xt in cyberpunk and decided to do 1440p max expecting an fps mess... only to see basically equal performance. Paused the game to see if I'd set the correct preset (I did) and once I unpaused did the FPS take the nosedive I expected. Sucks because all my prior test results were invalid, but good to hear I didn't have anything wrong on my end.

I find the Schlieren testing to be very intriguing - perhaps because it is not something seen elsewhere in this space - kudos GN team! If I may, perhaps you have/will consider a Schlieren test on the triple fan graphics cards where manufacturers have the adjacent fans to the middle unit in alternate (rotating anti-clockwise but still as a intake for the cooler)? From what is said on the suggested benefits, creating a "smoother" flow (Gigabyte), it would be most interesting to see the claim(s) tested and what, if any, learnings can be applied to other cooling processes; 360 AIO/radiator fan situations, etc. Although I imagine a community member knowledgeable in fluid dynamics, etc. may be able to kindly comment on the theoretical benefit to a flow through design in the differing triple-fan scenarios??

Interesting results concerning LTT's CP2077 testing. Had the same thought, that there must have been something wrong. Not only was their RTX4090 way above the expected, the 6950XT was also uncharacteristically low. While all tests I have had a look at, reported relatively comparable results within a few frames, depending on the settings (DLSS, RT). Not exactly comforting, when they particularly point out that they tripple checked the results... 😅 But It's most definitely a good decision to clarify, that there was something wrong with the tests. So thumbs up for that. On that note, with all the enhancement options and "tweaks" you can apply outside of basic rasterization, it's no surprise that customers get confused and reviewers are drowning in tests and testing charts. And the implementation of DLSS3 and frame insertion isn't going to make it any easier... As for the noise testing, you guys might want to test a GTX 480 reference cooler at 100% fan speed. Without exaggeration, that is the loudest actually sold consumer PC component I ever heard. Just for comparison, so that some "noise sensitive" younger gamers get to experience, what loud really means when it comes to GPU's...🤣

Partners have a few good areas to play in. Firstly is cards with liquid cooling, whether it be AIO's or (for a 4090 it should be) a full block. Second is better connector setups, like maybe putting the 12 pin on the back and running extensions around the back fan so it can stay open. Third is obviously multi bios. Fourth would be size/weight. making cards that perform the same in smaller packages that don't require additional support in the case. I would really love to see a board partner take advantage of vertical mounting and make a cooler that is designed for vertical mounting only that utilitzes the extra width provided
