Looks like a nice bit of kit. Plenty of detail too. Thanks for giving us a good look at it.

I am also right handed but like yourself prefer the blade on the left of the machine.

Yeah I can't work out why they put the blade on the right when most of the people using it are right handed. It makes more sense to have the blade on the left

@@GrumpysWorkshop4 Aren't most tracksaws with blade on the right? I mean I see your logic for cutting long edge of a full board but for cross cuts surely on the right is better? Caveat being I have never used one, just going through loads of YT videos to decide which one to buy.

I have one of these and I am about to cut slat wood panels. Now I thought the good face should be face down but it's splintering. I've tried face up and it seems to be a cleaner cut but I'm pretty sure it recommends face down on these so I'm confused.

You can always use some tape on the cut line that should reduce tearout

I've just realised the blade was on the wrong way round 😂 the picture side is normally visible but om this blade the picture side faces into the machine haha. Works great now 👍

It makes no sense to put the motor on the left of that circular saw unless it was designed by a left handed person or they are available handed as 90% of the world are right handed (roughly)

I agree with you, would make way more sense to put the blade on the left side. Other than that it's a great saw
