Just to be clear, this is not a critique against Evolve, I’m just telling my story. On my commute to work I suddenly lost power on my board as well as my breaking-force while I was in the traffic. I didn’t lose all the power but I had half the acceleration in GT mode and half the braking power, it couldn’t brake my board going slightly downhill and at low speed ( or higher). My left motor was burning hot when I reached my destination and my right motor had a lot lower temp. 9 hours later I had to go back home, the board felt better and had a lot more power and brakes, but when I came home, the left motor was burning hot again as well as the bracket holding the motor. My right motor was normal. Anyone have had the same issue? I am in contact with Evolve and they want the board back for a check. That will probably take a couple of weeks with transport etc and not ideal for me. But it is what it is. This video is only posted so others might identify their issues as well and if someone have experienced the same can comment. Evolve CS UK is fenomenal and they are quick at responding back with solutions.
