his leg wasn't fractured, only the wound was deep and exposed the inside of his leg a bit, hence why he was back playing in 4 weeks. A fractured femur would be 12 weeks to 12 months recovery if at all for some people.

I guess it's pretty understandable he got up. Didn't want the insides of his leg touching the ground, plus he probably had an adrenaline rush at the time, and naturally felt the urge to spring up and run around. On top of that, his leg isn't even broken, just exposed, so technically he can run alright, just with a bit of a limp.

My left humerus snapped and ripped the skin(also damaged the nerv left my right hand paralyzed for 8 months) and it hurt but herniated disc was way more painful. The biggest pain I've experienced is when I miserably failed to impress my crush. Point is you can't see the scars inside...

Not comparing my injury to his, but I met a bike accident in 2014, just one day after graduation and got a nasty deep wound in my arm and legs..but my adrenaline kicks in and I managed to ride my crooked bike till a hospital without feeling anything. But damn, the fever I had in the evening was outta this world. Maybe ,thats how shock works.
