Seeing you work with the concrete pipe made me think there has got to be a better way. Yup, C hook. Can buy a shit load of chain for what a lower end C hook costs. In the neighborhood of $2,500. Some go for $4,500. Man could buy a new chain for each job and come out ahead. Plus it's something else to carry to a job on the trailer etc. etc.
@Blazer02LS

Yep, They are great IF you are laying large concrete pipe on a very regular basis and have money to toss away. I've watched a lot of Chris's videos and even if the videos are less than half of the work they do, they don't lay concrete enough to really justify the cost. Don't think many folks look at the cost/benefit like you or I did.

How much do such concrete pipe segmets cost for 150m Do you think sb could make a underground shooting range with such pipes, some rails inside them to get the target out and a shipping container on one end as enterance and a larger pipe with a serviceing entrance and a exhaust with fan/AC on the other and straight sand as bullet catcher - with a bench and matrace for sitting standing and benchrest shooting? Like so that no neighbars get irritated if i feel like poping 20 rounds .308winchester around midnight and there is a 0.0% risk in a urban area at the same time this within a earth burm could deflect highway noise pollution from my house

Prinz Eugen van Sovoyen it’s been done. Not saying who on an open forum, but search, you’ll find a gun manufacturer who did just that to test fire their rifles. Six foot pipe, I think, 100 yards, bullet trap, etc. nice setup.
